We have updated Lucario's translation again and downloaded it at here .
pls
The outfit unlock recipes had been disabled, because a way to automatically do it was found.
So that was a thing for a while.
Although the outfit recipes are now redundant if you have Armor Adapt installed as the recipes you would have gotten are just copies of lucario outfits with different sprites and Armor Adapt swaps the sprites to match your lucario for these outfits automatically with just the base versions of the outfits.
Anyway, is there a way I can use a console command to get them? I'm thinking /spawnitem, but I don't know what i'd put in to get the bag.
Thanks in advance!
The vanilla clothes turning into a tank top and a pair of pants when worn is an intended feature of Armor Adapt referred to as "default outfits" meant to placehold until images of that item to fit the species is made.
This is an optional feature that is not required for everyone who uses Armor Adapt to use but I made the lucario use the feature.
As explained over at Armor Adapt. I am poking the mod to make chest items no longer default. Legs will continue to default though. I originally wanted to sprite images for the lucario for the vanilla items but 2023 was not kind to me, thus the placeholding.
Armor Adapt cannot make new images with code, you have to make the images the old fashioned way and put them in the right folder.
Auracite Anvil, have to make at least 1 of each auracite on it to unlock the next
That makes sense, making a new race can be hard, it's like trying to balance a Shotgun in a shooter, it can be done, but it's hard, thanks for that :)
This is probs my favorite race mod on the Workshop
The lucario may seem OP at start due to weapons you can craft being a bit better than a lot of early game weapons (up till tier 3) but they are not when it comes to modded content. The Lucario used to be very broken in early beta of Starbound but they have actually been re-balanced since then. Once you hit around 3rd or 4th mission, is when the species will feel about the same as the others. If you play FU or use Race Traits though, the lucario become glass cannons, especially on high difficulty modded content. While they do gain some nice buffs in certain areas, other areas will punish you, granted it is risk reward. Beta Starbound was more sandbox than 1.0+ we have now. So while I cannot give you the overly broken gear of beta, there has always been an intention of speed running the starting hours with the race so you can jump in the game faster.
You know it's powerful because I had no armor
If you are using the nude edit from LL, that is an entire copy of an older version of the mod just with swapped images, causes some problems. If not move to Bug and Improvements and send log over pastebin so i can see your mod list without having you detail it all or link a collection.
Its a lame the hiatus but at least the mod have enough content for the game.
I would think of designs and forget to sketch them as i did think of that. Making furniture that doesn't require auracite.. but I kept getting busy. With Armor Adapt now out, I have to sit down with other developers and discuss compatibility with it. I also should be picking RenTek development back up for my side of things. Although getting a stable income is one of my main goals right now.
You need a character creation extender. Xbawks is basic if you only have a little, although there are mods that have much higher slots for the species to pop up in. Without a Character Creation Extender, the race will be loaded in but won't be accessible for you to play.
This is about to what I narrowed it down to, asking a lot to check each one as some race mods made with the template don't mention it.

This leads me to believe that somewhere in my mod list, I have more race mods made using Skittle's template. I don't know what mods those could be, though I don't have a huge issue with removing every race mod I have and then reinstalling the ones I used the most (Lucarios, Gnolls, Jolteons, etc.), while leaving out the ones I never used. Maybe that could help narrow down what's going wrong?
Sorry for the late replay.
After removing all four race mods, the game still crashes. I'm not sure now what's going on, unless if somewhere I still have a mod that uses Skittle's template. This is starting to turn into something I'd prefer we talk about over Discord (if that's fine with you, of course. I understand if you don't want to) so that the problem gets solved faster? Your choice, I won't force it on you if you don't want to.
Okay had to go down a rabbit hole, but I think I managed to thin it out.
Remove these mods one at a time till the issue stops. Tell me which one causes the issue to end so I can tell the developer of that mod.
Glaceon Race V2.0
Espeon Race!
GnollBound
Lepidoptian Race
Those mods were chosen because they stated they used Skittle's Basic Race Template. The error is happening because they deleted a template piece of clothing from their files but they did not delete the recipe used to craft them. So a crafting recipe is looking for an item that no longer exists.
well it isn't the lucario from the looks of it, looks like someone made a recipe for an item that doesn't exist in another mod. The lucario loom uses the same crafting list as the vanilla spinning wheel. If you craft a vanilla spinning wheel and open it, this might happen there too.
The item missing that is causing the crash has the ID of "sktestoutfit1chest"
So I need to figure out what SK stands for and contact the dev of said mod it comes from... (in fact it seems that mod has more in the log than just this one item crashing you that is broken)
The only mod I see with that abbreviation is "Small Kobolds", granted SK could stand for anything, but I'm gonna ask the dev of that mod.
That shouldn't happen... I gave it a new crafting interface so the interface would be separate from the norm and mods that alter interfaces wouldn't know it existed.
So I need to see why in case I need to make a new compatibility tweak.
Make it happen again, close your game, and then follow these instructions:
Right click starbound in your library, click properties, go to the local files tab, hit browse local files.
Enter the storage folder and look for a file named starbound or starbound.log, if the files have a .1, .2, etc at the end it is the wrong one. Open this file up in notepad and copy the contents. Paste them into this site, https://pastebin.com/
then at the bottom, click "create new paste". When the website updates copy the link at the top and paste it here.
That'll allow me to see any errors and your mod list.
