Start the map with " \devmap bloodister " and any of the supported gametypes.
Activate " \noclip " and fly around the map, through some walls and stairs. :petrifiedeye:

Nice!! I would never of found that...I was looking for a big door/part of a wall opening up lol...just gotta find out how to the map onto the pit servers.....

the switch activate 2 little stairs upto the RA.
if you have the time in a battle you can push the switch and jump upto the RA without taking damage from plasma or rocket jump.

So, the devs messed up with file system component in their engine and content has to be in pk3s. Guess I'll pack the map each iteration. Might make automatic packaging script.

Create a archive for your "TEST" map:
Create a folder named "maps" and put your map "TEST.bsp" into it. Maybe you create a "TEST.aas" for bot play? Put the ".aas-file" into the "maps" folder too.
Make a .zip archive with your "maps" folder and name it "TEST.zip".
-> looks like TEST.zip/maps/TEST.bsp <-

Rename your archive into "TEST.pk3" and put it in your QuakeLive/BaseQ3 folder.
When you launch Quake Live type into the console: "map test ffa"

Now it should work if you compiled your ".map" right into ".bsp".

You've to create more folders in the future for your:
"loading screen" - TEST.pk3/levelshots
"map config files" - TEST.pk3/scripts
"new models" - TEST.pk3/models
"new sprites" - TEST.pk3/sprites
"new sounds" - TEST.pk3/sound

How did you compile map?
Been trying to make test map for qlive, but when I load it, it outputs it's missing.
