@twistedGaming Nobody asked you. Stop worrying about me and mind your own business.
SetiPrime 20 Feb, 2021 @ 9:50pm
@mimoys1 if you actually bothered to read the description the you would know exactly how.

I like the trains but they only work on the passenger rail and not the metro. How can i used them on my Metro lines?

This is amazing! I've been wanting BART in my cities for a while now, and you just made my day. I'm so glad I found these.

One of the best metro assets on the workshop, keep creating!

As written in the description, only will a small circle change colors according to line color and not the side decals. It was made this way to be as close as possible to the real trains.

Does this asset can change the line color?

@j4lambert yes that's the reason why I set it to 300, as most players won't use Rush Hour mod, it is quite nice to have stations a little busy thus the smaller than maximum capacity. I think that the agent limit makes it that you also don't get to see as much people as there should be so that's quite an in-between.

The seating capacity in real life for a 5 car bart train is 102+168=270 passengers. The crush load capacity is higher.

It's a shame that this train didn't get noticed!

I've released the prop version and updated this one to remove the dependencies and some glitches ! Check the props out.

I'm afraid it does not :-( I will release them in the future though, as I also want to make yards ^^ Thanks !
JeffFromTheIRS 14 Apr, 2018 @ 11:32pm
Does this asset have props already packaged with it?

Great asset by the way! Can't wait to use this in my city :)

Hi, thank you very much @ThatEvan and @REV0.

I didn't know about this mod, I'll definitely update the asset using this mod to remove the AVO dependency, thank you for pointing that :)
I would like to create a MOM version of it, but I ignore if creating MOM assets is as simple as using an existing MOM asset as a template or if it requires additional steps, I'll mess around and post once I found out. I knew about the LOD, yet both the look and the tri count were OK so I stick with that :) Thank you very much for these helpful remarks

Welcome to workshop. Since it's first asset of yours, bunch of recommendations:

1. If user needs AVO mod, put it as required item, to evade complaints from users who can't read description. If not, dont mention it in the description. If you use Access Violation's "Extended Asset Editor" you will have an option to replace last car with engine, which removes the need of using AVO or anything else.

2. I'd add manufacturer name somewhere, since it's usually searched in the workshop, in the description if not possible on the title.

3. MOM Ready variants are usually appreciated, though it's your option to not release them. It is just less convenient for the rest of the players.

4. In game LOD is a wildcard, since it optimizes full model sometimes high triss, sometimes complete dumb way.

Overall it's a good looking asset, shame you didnt add close-up shots. Looking forward to see more, cheers.
