I feel like this would be really cool if it worked with the in-game MP3 player instead of a tablet. I might reprogram it to work that way, if it's alright with you.

I know this is obsolete, but it provides so much more functionality than the in game player does. We got everthing to work except when you hit play on the MP3 player, the tablet just clears and nothing plays. It works through the tablet but that's only client side.

Any way to fix the play button on the player?

The controls for this feel extremely convoluted, and the total lack of any ability to use your own Music folder really makes it not feel worthwhile. It's also a pain to move around because the Grab tool refuses to work with it, and instead you get this purple fire icon that I can't make heads or tails of.

They were never meant to be editable on the site itself.

Unfortunately, it seems the name and URL fields are un-editable on the website-side (noticed in-game, verified in out-of-game browser)

I don't think this is obsolete at all, i can't add songs in bulk with the native MP3 player.

In my case i need to add an impressive amount of sound clips, but the MP3 Player only let's me do it one by one.

Its unnable to edit URL or Name field for me!

Pay attention to the formatting of the playlists, use the demo example using the !help command for an example of an autoplaying playlist. I went in to confirm that nothing is broken and it does autoplay with a correctly formatted playlist.

The tablet runs as a separate application and can be controlled from i.e the windows audio mixer, it's called ZFGameBrowser.exe and you can locally adjust your own volume there.

really good way to find already hosted mp3s: just look up "index of ___ mp3" (replace with anime, music, 80s etc)

is there any better way to finetune the volume..? trying to set this up for use in my dnd campaign with background battle/travel music but its still really loud.. the difference from 1 to .2 is significant sure but from testing using the music you had its still insanely lound on the lowest setting

continuing playback doesn't working. I'm using dropbox. first song is fine but i should push forward button manually to listen next music. How can i fix it?

Dropbox seems to be the best option for hosting. In case there are any fellow dumbasses on here who ALSO struggled with this, here's how I did it.

1. Make sure you're using a personal dropbox account and not a business one
2. Install the Desktop version of Dropbox, this will create a Dropbox Folder for you to use
3. Create a new folder IN the Dropbox folder
4. Right-click the folder and select "share". A new window will pop up
5. Click "Create link". This will make the folder public
6. Now you can start putting music into your folder (I recommend doing it on the website)
7. Navigate to your folder on the dropbox website and find your files
8. Find the "share" option and click "create link" and then "Copy link"
9. You're gonna get a link that ends in "=0", change that to "=1"
10. NOW you can start building your playlists as described in the...description.

just wanted to say i figured out my issue there were commas in the name of the song causing it to somehow skip it and ruin the whole order

so i have created a playlist but it will not play half of them and then the playlist will get out of sync

Quick question:
I want to try using this to play specific short sound effects when placing a card from hand to a specific card zone on the playing field. Will the sound effect play for all players? Will it loop or stop after playing as intended? I'm going to need alot of help with this.

The web app is made to be used with the in game asset. It sends requests to the site which returns i.e a playlist. It's been a while since I made this but I believe I only had the +ADD button on the page itself for debug, as there is no input to fetch from.

Try the !help chat command for a demo on how to input tracks to the player.

So I have loaded in your workshop item, first thank you for working on this, but I find that can not enter text into the textfields provided on the php page. There seems to be no lock out options so I am wondering if they are currently flagged as uneditable?

Unless you are interfering with the script, the only real reason that can cause it to stop is latency/loading issues, which sounds like what's happening as it namely occurs when you search or take things out of containers which forces un-loaded objects to load in.

I've ran into an interesting problem. I've built a table with your MP3 player as a part of it, but whenever I do many actions around the board (changing states of an item, searching inside bags I've made, pulling items out of bags), the music playing will instantly stop and have to be restarted.

I feel like it has something to do with the loading of new images from image links, which all of these events trigger. I assume this is what you meant when you wrote in this description that 'The downside of this is that all requests refresh the page'?

I just wanted to confirm that's what going on here, because you did a great job with this player and I wanted to ensure I wasn't mis-using it somehow.

CHRY, I don't know why it took so long for us to get to this point with TTS but this is a nice solution! Easy up front and powerful with chat commands. That said, am I missing a way to repeat one song? Is there any plan to add a loop song button?

Check tablet compatibility, volume, that they're allowing the tablet to load pages without prompts and switch to a different track to force reload the player for all your clients.

So I have gotten all my music to work ingame but when I have a friend join me they cant hear the music, any thoughts?

First two are known issues, for the third your only option is to hide the objects, either by scaling them down or putting them some where people can't access them.

Or make a View area that only you can see over it.

To 3.
Lets Play the music and Move the Player out of the screen or unser the table by lock it an move with your menü.

this mod is really awesome. unfortunately i noticed some.. bug? not sure if they are bug. but let me explain what i mean:
1. when i volume up or down, the selected title starts to play from begin again.
2. when the last URL so the very last song in the lsit is played, it doesnt loop (doesnt start from begin again). it goes to "undefined".
3. this is more like a question: is there a way to hide the mp3 player + tablet so users cant see them while the music is still playing?

@Wazzup33 Yep but I have too much songs (309) to play so the MP3 player can't hold it, and I need to choose music by clicking it.

I can not remotely troubleshoot your code, better yet without seeing it. Perhaps the tablet does not support your jquery plugin as opposed to the plain javascript I am using, I wouldn't know and it's on you to troubleshoot your own scripts.

... what ? The source of your website ? I already saw it. My problem :

1. I'm using Jquery audio libray
2. In your web site it's working
3. In MY website I did the same, but it's working only in my browsers and not in TTS tablet

The source is freely available, surely if you're writing a jquery app you would know this lol.

Hi, I just want to know how did you made the tablet playing .mp3 files (from url) because I'm trying to make a website page with all my musics and play it using the Jquery Audio method (audio.play(), audio.pause(), ...) like you did in http://www.chry.me/tts/musicplayer/standalone_tts.php
It's working in chrome from my PC, but don't work in the tablet in TTS ...
And the urls are working in your mod.
