Seems that currently the cobble texture got destroyed at some point. The texture looks like it got substituted for the normal map to me. Let me know if you need screenshots

Hey Cassio. There used to be, but something got changed or bugged when 0.7. If the game ever gets actual developers again that I can work with, I can figure out what happened to those sounds. Sorry for them being broken now, I know things like walk/run sounds have a big impact on immersion.

Hey CassioMJR, thanks much. I can take a look at this once the huge new game update goes live -- whenever that is! It sounds like a lot of the stuff is going to change or break, so I don't want to mess with anything right yet. I can talk with Equinox also about the voxel mix that he's using. Maybe there's a way we can work together so that my voxel tools will behave more nicely with his terraforming. That's a good idea.

First, great job with this mod!

Second, can you make it possible to change "hard" ground surface? At least with the bricks and stone voxels?

The thing is that in my world I used the rail mod to make some terraforming so now the ground has lots of layers, like dirt, clay, stone and that mix of stone and dirt that the rail mod aplies when you use their pickaxe.

Is there a way to turn those kind of terrains into your voxels or at least turn then into dirt without using the shovel?

hast du denn jetzt schon Lavendel gefunden, z.B. in einer der Schatztruhen?
Du kannst Lavendel mit der Sense ernten, diese bekommst du mit der "Re:Plant" mod ins Spiel.
Du musst diese Mod aber nicht noch einmal extra abbonieren und herunterladen, da die "Craftable Voxels for Survival" Mod diese automatisch mitlädt, wenn diese denn geladen wird.
Du solltest also die Sense (eng. = Scythe) bereits im Spiel haben, nachdem du die Farming Research Quest (kenne den genauen Namen gerade nicht) abgeschlossen hast.

Hey Sullivas. I suppose that if we mixed dirt with branches, we could get something that might work as "forest grass" voxel. But the problem is, it won't start spawning trees or anything -- the tree system is hard-coded into a world when the world is made. So it might be possible to make forest-grass voxels, but you'll never get a forest out of it.

Were you using it near a patch of lavender? The game may have thought you were trying to put lavender on top of lavender.

good morning, found the problem, when using the skythe, you can only use it once in the area, since the skythe does not change voxel overlay like for example the plow. when you use the plow the ground voxel changes. that caused me some confusion.

That is correct. The Iron Scythe is part of Mirzipan's "Re:Grass" mod, which is linked to this mod. All you have to do is use the scythe on grass, and you will collect grass without changing the terrain.

last thing for today, to gain grass you have to dig, that causes terrain changes. if i understand you correctly, i should be able to use the skythe on default grass terrain?

Hey guardian, thanks for so much great feedback. Let’s see. Ok, I can easily look at the pitchfork durability & make it last longer. The lavender seedbag should work fine on grassland, I don’t know why it would give an error. We know the bricks & cobbles “paint” too deep. Mirzipan is trying to see if there is a way to make it shallower. If so, that will fix the “too many bricks” problem too. As for drying lavender, it’s easy enough to make a second workbench and dedicate it just to drying lavender — that’s why I picked the workbench, so you could make something nice and quick & cheap. To gather grass use the Iron Scythe. It works for both grass & lavender so you don’t have to deform or destroy the terrain. I hope that helps! Thanks again, very much appreciated!

to gather gras currently the showel is the tool, how about a "a garden rake", to avoid deforming the area?

#4: when you create either a cobblestone area or brickarea and remove it, you retrieve more than you have used for it to build it. in numbers, i used material for 2 click and in return i got 5 times the amount of material till it was removed completely.

as for getting the lavender, that works fine, 5 times a treasure map, 5 lavender, the tooltip says, it has to be dried for 30 minutes, so we have to put it into the workbench, but what happens if i have to remove it, for building/space reasons, does the timer reset?

looks fine, but i encountered the following situation

#1: the pitchfork degrades to fast, to create a decend area, you are forced to create 5 or more pitchforks. 3-4 times the pitchfork is used, then it is gone. compared to the lifetime of the other tools poor.

#2: the lavender seed back says, use on grassland, got many times the message, this is not possible with these voxels (btw. the error message is not ME style ;) )

#3: when you place a for example a cobblestone street or a brick path, to remove them entirely you have to dig down up to 1m at least, to remove it entirely. that is way to much. for example, i used the tool for laying the brick/cobblestone path 2 times, to remove with the pickaxe, i had to dig down 1m on the entire area on both area's. way to much.

Hey Sabotaaage — the idea is that you dig grass voxels to get “grass” in your inventory. You then have to “craft” that grass at a crafting table to dry it out into hay. It’s a slow process, the craft takes 30 minutes. I’ve tested on my end and it works. If you do those steps and it doesn’t work let me know what’s going wrong! I appreciate all the feedback.

Hey guardian, thanks for this. I can probably make the Old Grass and Lavender plowable. The brick & cobblestones can be chopped out with a pickaxe. The idea is that they will behave like stone once placed. And the gravel wouldn’t make a good soil to be plowed, so it has to be shoveled out or covered with dirt.

one thing, i have tested the mod and encountered the following issue.

once you have created a gras, cobble stone or what ever, it cannot be undone, the ground is marked. the ground cannot be plowed any more. some erasing or reseting is required.
