Causes choose production bug in BNW. Otherwise a fine mod.

As commented below, this mod breaks the game upon researching Guilds, as the prouctoin button bug arises. you can safely remove the mod before it though and still play the game,

I did the same test as the person below my comment. Its true and I am saddened as I liked this Mod. But it has caused me a lot of problems and won't use it anymore.

Like others have said, it's not compatible with BNW and causes the "Choose Production" bug after researching Guilds.

I've tested all my mods removing them one by one, starting a new game and then rushing to Guilds, and this is the one that was breaking it.

It's a fantastic mod though. Really disappointed I can't use it anymore.

ATTENTION!!! It seems that it does NOT work with BNW!!!
In the cityview i misses the stats for food, gold, culture, and so on. Other describers has different problems too, you can read in older entries.

This mods is not compatible with Communitas Expansion Pack:
Civilopedia entries for buildings, wonders & units are all empty and the tech selection menu is also bugged.

Would be great if the description also noted that this mod isn't tested unter Brave New World. But I suspect the mod abandoned? :(

Das Ding is buggy. Wenn man in die Renissance kommt kann man nicht mehr bauen( Wenn man auf Produktion wählen klickt öffnet sich das menü nicht). Hat stunden gedauert, mod für mod auszuschalten, um den übeltäter zu finden. Ich hab Civ 5 mit allen add ons und Dc.

Buggy ! Isnt running correct !

Why on earth would you not state this in the description?? Let people know that you haven't purchased BNW and that problems have been reported! Honestly, why go through all the trouble of making a mod, only to be so unconcerned that you can't edit a simple description!!

Do you realize you have likely caused hundreds (but likely thousands) of people hours of frustration and confusion?

Please, for the LOVE OF GOD add in the description that this mod causes the "choose production" bug and you cannot continue past Guilds in BNW. Its bad enough I had to scroll through PAGES of other mods searching for which one was causing it but it doesn't even have it in the description or in the first page of comments. If you don't want to admit this mod is bugged, why dont you word it as "there have been reports that this mod may cause you to get stuck on 'choose production' after Guilds is researched if you have the BNW expansion". This thread isnt even searchable on Google so I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that get stuck on Guilds and never figure out why and just give up.

I solved the production bug by just deleting the InfoTooltipInclude.lua file altogether haha and it didn't break anything! (Plus it actually adds extra info to the load screen hahaha)

Thanks @Treacle.Miner - meanwhile i own the expansion and an update is in the stack of the million things i have to do - i try to get it done ^^
Interessting that is seems to be still a usefull mod though :D

Hi @Flitzpiepe. If you are wondering what the actual bug is, it is that your mod's version of InfoTooltipInclude.lua is missing the method GetHelpTextForProcess(). If you just copy & paste the version from the base game, it solves the problem.

The author should mention the bug in the description to help warn others as it is sadly a very limiting aspect of the mod.

Indeed v5 does NOT work with BNW (causes 'choose production bug') - turning off solves the bug thoug and does not affect existing saves! Still a nice mod!

You have to activate it before you start a game - in Main Menu, choose Mods - rest should be clear hopefully :)

Next feature will be "Show, which standard unit was replaced with the Unique" - i think it makes sense. I do have a slight idea what i have to do, but some debugging and reading is needed first - and afterwards i have to fight with the layout ...

I agree with Mathew, this is the fifth installation of the Civ franchise. This isn't some dumb game that there is only one way to play it, if you really want to know what a complicated game is play Crusader Kings II...
