Yes this mod still works, but in the galactic market the image will be an apple. its a banana everywhere else.

I think I've identified the bug with the errant line of pixels on the right-hand side of the image - you need to save the images as uncompressed rather than DXT5 compressed. It's probably some difference of opinion on how DXT5 should work between Imagemagick/Gimp on the encoding side and whatever Stellaris uses on the decoding side. Stellaris's stock food images are uncompressed too (1424 bytes rather than 528). Hope this helps.

(P.S. bananas are still yellow)
