@synra, (sorry for late reply, Steam never popped up any notifications for me) thanks for the kind words. I had plans for even bigger versions, but I scrapped the idea as I decided to move to other games. Right now I only maintain the mod.
Yes, there are a billion mods that have far larger capacities, but none as clean and functional as yours. If you could find a clean way to go larger (tabless would be nice), I would happily sit on my mountain of treasure with this mod forever~
Perhaps a scroll bar? or a version for larger resolutions / lower UI scales with more rows/columns?
Thank you for the kind words; one of my primary goals was to make it as polished as it can get. The secondary goal was to make it as "vanilla" as it can get, that's one of the reasons why there aren't more tabs for everything. The other reason is the heavy logic involved, making me dizzy while working on a separate, even bigger version.
Sorry to hear that this is not what you expected / wanted. Take care, and have fun :)
sadly, this is not as advertised. the spells tab does not fit consumables, neither scrolls like identify nor potions. there are 4 tabs after installing this mod.
I was definitely hoping for 3 — inventory, spells, scrolls and consumables, and gems. I don't even really need the extra inventory space. Anyway it is a nice, polished mod, I just expected something different.
is it possible, i.e. is there the option in modding, for the gem box to also include the "min item level" for the gems inside? if not, great mod anyway. ;)
And yes, creating a new mod is possible, but not viable on my part. Every change I make will have to be replicated, which means increased chances of a fail on my part, which means angry subscribers.
Unfortunately, the untimely launch of GUTS, the new mod system caught me in its wake. Had I known a few days before it is out, I'd have adapted a different approach, and "secondary" pages would be safe. What I did before GUTS is, converting the consumables tab to socketables tab, but with GUTS, I learned a few more unknowns that I needed in order to make unlimited amount of new tabs. In other words, Bigger Inventory would be a safe mod, that wouldn't binding to your saves, but it is a bit late to change that, since a lot of users will be affected. And I wouldn't be in their (or my) shoes should such thing occur (never).
In retrospect one should probably have cleared the secondary pages before messing with this, lesson learned
Also I have noticed something strange; I have 3 mods installed: essentials, this and synergies in said priority. Yesterday I wanted to transmute some gems, but shiftclicking the gems from my shared stash into my inventory closed the shared stash window down and moved the gem to my pet's inventory. Furthermore, when I shiftclicked the gem from my pet's inventory to move it to my own the gem simply disappeared. It could be a problem with my launch priority.
No need to stress and take your time :)
Oh I almost forgot. I was wondering if anyone would find specific tabs useful. Little boots/gloves/etc... tabs (pet inventory size), allowing you to categorize stuff on your own. Would it be useful to people like you somehow? It is something on my mind, but have no time so I never looked at the possibilities, possible usages; whether or not it will be useful, also the stuff to do list is long, so don't want to work on something that'll not be used at all :P
About gems, I'll take a look. Shift-clicking should send them to the correct tab, but I'll double check to see what's wrong. Something I may have overlooked. Via some "external" logic, it may be possible to make them move to the page you are looking at, I'm sure it is possible but I'm also sure it'll require a heavy logic. But the problem you describe is a simple priority problem, I'll try to fix it very soon.
When I want to move a large amount of items to a specific page (gems for instance), I have to move them manually because shift-clicking will move them to page one. Would it be possible to make them transfer to the current visible page?
Thank you in advance!
Sorry for my bad english, i'm fench.
Thx a lot, it's very great!
Save binding issue is noted up in description. Aswell as the UI problems that may arise, which are related to UI scaling. Go to the options and lower your UI scaling. 70-80% should be fine.
Since I installed it, I can not disable it. If I remove it, I can not continue my game ..
Because in fact, because the inventory is much larger, we do not see how gold was. So I wanted to remove it but to do it I have to start some of zero ..
The old patch (which some people cannot get rid of), I can turn it into a mod extension, that'll add paging/scrollbars/etc... anything that I don't want to add to this mod, for those who would like it. I'll talk with Salan, maybe he'll like that idea too.
tldr; would like 10 pages like old synergies, and fix gold display on inventory page if possible.
Thank you for the mod
