Anyone can tell me how to transmute gems? What chapter do I have to pass or which item do I have to get to transmute gems?

@Fish Gaming Mod is still in working order. I was able to rare transmute via the given method in a game were i only used this mod. there's a conflict with the pack or another mod that were using. I was using and "essential" which i have suspicion maybe at fault as the only other pack i was using was the rejuvenation potion mod by Kriss_gjeng. There could still be a conflict that but i feel there's less chance. If your still reading hope this helps.

Same as fish gaming. I know its bit old but transmuting a rare hasn't been possible.

Does this still work? I have tried numerous times and with three and four identical embers I attempt to transmute and it uses up three of the socketables for one rare gem instead of upgrading the ember gem to the next higher one.

This drop makes Chaos Embers drop like candy for some reason.

I always liked this mod, but this is the only mod that seems to affect the gameplay. I do get more lag when this mod is loaded. The gameplay is more sluggish. I don't know if that's because I have an older computer. Other people may not have any problems with this mod.

You have to defeat the Grand Regent and travel to the Ossean Wastes to find the Transmuter. This Ember Gem Upgrade mod is really good because you can't normally upgrade three unique items. Those unique items really make a difference in the game.

I just picked this game up and i'm confused. Where is the transmuter? Do I do a quest for him and then I get to use him? Can't find an answer googling, so I thought I'd ask here. Thx

when i try to upgrade 3 identical gems (any) it just says fortune smiles on me and i get nothing ??? is this broken ?

Where is the npc for this? He doesn't seem to exist...

I like how this in game description says "You will find better varieties soon, and the ancient art of combining gems to make better ones has been lost in this era."
In this era. Though previous heroes from Torchlight 1 upgraded gems at a random merchant not a while ago XD Was he the only one who knew that ancient art? Sounds stupid.

I think i changed that in a later update, and i haven't updated the images. it's been a few years since i played the game.

Does this seriously say "gem upgrade" (all lowercase) in the game? Because I'm not going to lie - that would bother the shit out of me.

I can't transmute chaos ember anymore. When I attempt to combine three of the same tier, they disappear and no higher tier ember appears. Other ember types are working fine. I see a couple of people had this happening a while back, did any fix turn up for it? I've already tried reinstalling this by deleting the file and letting steam update it and have put this mod at the top of the load order (also using essentials, synergies and synergies highloot).

Is it possible another mod is the issue?

The recipes for Lucky Coin x3 and Lucky Dice x3 do not work, can you fix that?

The original did but they got rid of it in TL2. They want people to actually use the embers they find instead hoarding them until they can upgrade them to the maximum level. The in-game explanation is that the technology to transmute gems was lost after the end of TL1.

The chaos gem recipe that gives you scrolls is a Synergies recipe that is likely overriding this mod.

I've been having the same issue as be0wolfe when combining 3 chaos embers of the same rank, the resulting ember doesnt appear in my inventory, wasting the embers I used. I even tried using 3 which used the same effect and it made no difference.

Also, it seems the 3 lucky coin recipe doesnt work either.

Is there an issue with chaos ember? There's a recipe for them, I can transmute them, but the transmuted gem doesn't show up in inventory ... ?

Does this still work with the newest version?
