Oh that would be a good idea! I'm not actively working on the mod right now, but I'll write it down in case I come back in the future :)

what do you think of maybe making the frequency change with pawn traits? like, the clumsy trait! :btd6thumbsup:

You can change the frequency in the mod settings! And IIRC it doesn't actually scale with number of colonists, but maybe I'm misremembering. Ultimately, though, it's not really supposed to be balanced, I made it as a joke. (I don't think there's even a way to prevent the colonists from seeking rest without a very large amount of patching the vanilla game anyway)

This mod really interferes with progress. Every time they stub their toe or something, the first thing they want to do is go lay down. So they will travel all across the nation just to lay down on their bed for 1 second while they are perfectly fine, because its still in their queue to do so. Not only that, but if you have just one colonist, it gets worse. Because they stub their toe or such about 3 to 4 times daily. Thats just absurd.

imagine your colonist with no legs getting a leg cramp.
The Bard of Hearts 2 Jan, 2022 @ 10:05pm
Hey, I get leg cramps all the time in the middle of the night. Wakes me up and I gotta go walk around for a second to get my muscles to calm down. That's how I'd see that in the game. :steamhappy:
Sir Luis 2 Jan, 2022 @ 7:44am
imagine stubbing your toe while sleeping. lmao
Meanie 24 Dec, 2021 @ 8:38pm
My colonist just stubbed her toe while sleeping... :deadweight:
Meanie 23 Dec, 2021 @ 9:13pm
How about biting your tongue, lips and cheeks while eating? Stiff neck? Muscle strain? Migraine? ingrown toenail? Prostate? Hemorrhoids?

Updated to 1.3!
@Bruenor Battlehammer I figured out the issue. If you have the mod left over from an older version, you need to go into the mod's settings and set the frequency slider. It won't have a circle to drag, just click in the center of the bar. The frequency hasn't been updated since an older version of the mod. (My bad!)
Mistletoe The Bard 10 Jul, 2021 @ 10:51am
.....and somehow they still kept all their toes :p
battlemage64  [author] 10 Jul, 2021 @ 9:52am
Lmao
Try adjusting the frequency settings in the mod's settings page. They shouldn't default to be turned way up, but idk maybe that happened somehow...
Ci'Ram, Lord of Turrets 9 Jul, 2021 @ 10:03pm
I added this to an existing save with about 30 other mods, and I'm not sure if one of those mods was causing a conflict, but my colony immediately broke down into about 1 stubbed toe or splinter each second at 2x speed. Lol

Had to turn it right back off. Pretty funny though!

Updated to 1.1!
Mistletoe The Bard 11 Nov, 2019 @ 6:10pm
@battlemage64 Now you reminded me. I did remember seeing paper cut before, when I still use this mod. That was long ago though. lol
battlemage64  [author] 11 Nov, 2019 @ 4:49pm
oh thats a good idea, ill add that once i get the mod working again:lunar2019crylaughingpig:
Sir Luis 11 Nov, 2019 @ 4:48pm
dont forget charley horses
battlemage64  [author] 11 Nov, 2019 @ 4:15pm
Update: Turns out I already added paper cuts to the code, but a bug made them never appear, and for some reason now the event isn't working at all and idk why, may be a few days before it's fixed
Mistletoe The Bard 8 Nov, 2019 @ 6:19pm
@battlemage64 That's def the best, in that case.
battlemage64  [author] 8 Nov, 2019 @ 6:04pm
I mean, separate mod is also fine I just didn't know what he wanted. I'll probably just add it to this mod, but make it configurable.
Mistletoe The Bard 8 Nov, 2019 @ 4:30pm
I would say separate mod sounds better... but if you don't have time, then it's fine. lol
Sir Luis 8 Nov, 2019 @ 12:15pm
but also add charley horse ;o)
Sir Luis 8 Nov, 2019 @ 12:14pm
add it to this mod?
battlemage64  [author] 8 Nov, 2019 @ 11:58am
A separate mod or an add-on to this one? I can totally do either but it would be easier to just add it to this mod.
Sir Luis 7 Nov, 2019 @ 6:04pm
can you make a paper cut mod?
battlemage64  [author] 3 Aug, 2019 @ 1:35pm
Thank you! I try my best.

Another one is coming out in the next few days (hopefully) -- stay tuned!
Mistletoe The Bard 3 Aug, 2019 @ 3:22am
Your mods are funny. They are small, but bring a lot of realistic to the game.
Friendly Noob 28 Jan, 2019 @ 12:50pm
update to 1.0 pls
Mister_Wolfgang 22 Oct, 2018 @ 3:28pm
thanks a lot !
battlemage64  [author] 22 Oct, 2018 @ 3:26pm
Fixed I think
Mister_Wolfgang 22 Oct, 2018 @ 2:52pm
the B19 version don't appear in workshop 0.19 tag .
Mister_Wolfgang 22 Oct, 2018 @ 2:50pm
it's not for me, but i make list of mod from BobLenon Twtich and youtube famous french Streamer. for him and his community
battlemage64  [author] 22 Oct, 2018 @ 2:49pm
Okay, the B19 version is up. Let me know if anything goes wrong, but there shouldn't be any save problems unless you save before a stubbed toe heals (like a fraction of a second at x3 speed).
battlemage64  [author] 22 Oct, 2018 @ 2:44pm
You're welcome! What's your channel's name?
Mister_Wolfgang 22 Oct, 2018 @ 2:30pm
thanks a lot !
battlemage64  [author] 22 Oct, 2018 @ 2:17pm
Yes, sure! All I have to do is change one line; the code works with B19 anyway. Give me a few minutes.
Mister_Wolfgang 21 Oct, 2018 @ 6:51pm
Hi ! Can you upload a B19 version on steam workshop ? For streamer's let's play and for facilitate its installation by the community.
Elias Bryce 20 Oct, 2018 @ 5:18am
Calm down, Satan!
battlemage64  [author] 30 Sep, 2018 @ 5:14pm
The raw code is all in the project files under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1362659868 (~/Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/workshop on Mac) in the Source folder. All of my mods are open source. They're not on GitHub, tho, because I only learned Git after I created my last mod.
james76543 30 Sep, 2018 @ 4:51pm
Lol, no but if you shoot me a github link or a zipped file of the raw code, I might take a look at it!
battlemage64  [author] 30 Sep, 2018 @ 4:42pm
Thank you! Odds are you know a lot more (and have access to a decompiler) so I hope you get farther than I did!
james76543 30 Sep, 2018 @ 4:37pm
I'll load it up and see if I can get the error. I have a feeling it's not that you're using that method, but that something else is going on. Unfortunately the debug message doesn't get far, so I'll dig deeper and see if I can find something useful to send you because I do like this mod :)
battlemage64  [author] 30 Sep, 2018 @ 4:30pm
@james76543: Hmm. I've looked into the issue and I'm not sure how ti fix it. The problem is there's no good way to get ahold of the pawn's body parts without using GetNotMissingParts, and I need to do that so I can add the injury of stubbing a toe. If you can find another way, that'd be awesome, but for now, see if it happens again and hopefully it won't ;) if it does, sorry, I guess disable Stubbed Toe.
james76543 28 Sep, 2018 @ 6:07pm
hit me up on pm, I might be able to help
battlemage64  [author] 28 Sep, 2018 @ 12:31pm
It probably is this mod as it uses that method. Don't worry about sending me more debug info; I know what I need to fix (although I'm not sure how).
james76543 27 Sep, 2018 @ 7:00pm
@battlemage64 I'm not 100% certain the compatibility problem is there, I honestly just searched all the folders for that specific method and these are the ones that came up: Jec'sTools, What the Hack, Psychology, and Stubbed Toe. It took me a while but I narrowed it down to whether Stubbed Toe was installed. I'm not sure what debug info I can send to you to help troubleshoot.
battlemage64  [author] 27 Sep, 2018 @ 6:12pm
@james76543: Well... shoot. I won't have time to fix this this week, but I'll take a look next week. Only problem is, GetNotMissingParts is a built-in method, which means JecsTools overrides that method and it can't find the method. I'll have to find another way to find the body parts. For now, just don't use the two together. Sorry.
