Sorry about the enxtensive post chain, it starts at the top. I just thought i'd post my ballistic analysis comparing the Typhoon and your Harrier II.

Harrier II: Well armed, accurate, versatile,
Eurofighter: Fast, Manoeuvrable,

Tests:
Harrier:
1st Flight - Shot down one aircraft missiles, pursued Euro for some time, landing several hits but then being hit by another aircraft (crash). 2 destroyed, 1 damaged. Missiles were unable to hit banking target.
2nd Flight - 1 aircraft shot down by missiles, another missed. Attacking again with missiles but missed and the aircraft crashed into water (guns may have been more effective here). 1 destroyed.
3rd Flight - Shot down 1 aircraft with missiles, engaged a Harrier in a dogfight, tailing it for a minute or two before bringing it down with accumulated fire. Landed perfectly after (slowed down proficiently). 2 destroyed, no further engaged.
