Okay, I give the octoling eyelid the $basetexture attribute. Then, I paste in the octoling eyelid texture, (Crossy\eyelids\octoling\Colors\Other\black.vtf) and nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? I am subscribed.

The one thing with the clean eyeball is just advertising the eyelids. The eyes on it are from the regular inkling models.

Override materials > octoling_girl_eyelid (It's just an example) > Left click on it > Add Attribute > string > type in $basetexture > in a blank area paste one of the things listed

@Dunklmer Actually, I believe I have found what your problem is.

I found that I was able to replicate the results you got by pasting an eyelid texture onto the eye material.

I believe you were trying to paste an eyelid texture onto the eyes, which won't exactly work since the eyelid textures were only made to be compatible with eyelids. :)

Try using one of the eye textures instead.

@[IS]Crimsn If you're wondering about the eyelid textures, do the same thing only to the "eyelid" material and type in "$basetexture". Then paste the eyelid texture in. :)

@Dunklmer Hmm, that's right. Are you subscribed to the textures? They are supposed to work once you paste Marina's eye textures in... or any other eye texture in general.

I have to say, you have once again outdone yourself Crosstic. These are very impressive! The various shades of the different colors are really handy for what I'm working on, and I love the custom eyelids that you designed as well. I also like how you updated the Octarian Eyes to make them seem less faded than the original ones. Very well done!

@Dunklmer Go to the overide materials, and go to the "eye" material. Add an attribute, and click "String". Once you've done that, type in "$iris". That is where you paste the texture in. :)
