I think the font is Bangers from Google Fonts
siXgun Gonzalez 20 Jul, 2019 @ 1:25pm
can you remake this mod with the font used on the Nintendo Switch version?
peach4hubby69 5 Jul, 2017 @ 4:12am
Well thank you.
availableusername  [author] 5 Jul, 2017 @ 3:03am
Just recompiled it for the new version. Haven't touched TL2 for years though, so I'm not really up to speed with changes that might have broken anything. But it seemed to work fine when I tested the new version just now.
peach4hubby69 2 Jul, 2017 @ 9:37am
Any chance to get it to work with 1.25.5.2 ?

Or it will be forever outdated an as a result not working with the last version of the game ...

Pretty fonts

While I've yet to see this in action at higher levels of play when damage numbers are everywhere, I'm sure it'll still look better than the fine-print of vanilla; especially since I have a television as a computer monitor whose resolution comes nowhere near what my video card can handle...so things look like crap in general - compared to how they could look anyway.

Working on a compilation which includes this mod. If you do not wish for me to use PrettyDamage, please let me know and I'll keep my compilation private.

Thanks for the reply, so it turns out that I am a complete n00b and the damage setting was set wrong :( sry about that. Love the mod now that I am using it correctly.

@jalbertcory
I just tested it again and made a screenshot:

Physical damage shows, it doesn't matter if the addon is activated or not. Without more information about the problem, I can't do anything about it (and even if: this addon just replaces the font, it doesn't touch any textual). Btw, damage from attacks gets accumulated with magical bonuses and proc-damage you get from talents and skills, with my embermage I had a very hard time locating the physical hits because of all the elemental-stuff which was added to it.
Dr Jalbert 9 Aug, 2013 @ 11:07pm
I have the same physical damage not showing but :/ only crits show

Sure, go ahead
RABBoT117 30 Jul, 2013 @ 7:10pm
Great job with mod. This was the easiest way for me to message you, but was hoping to get approval for me including this mod and any others that I may have included in a mod package I have put together. I have already credited you and made a link to this page within the link. Hope you're onboard.
Addy 30 Jul, 2013 @ 4:59pm
Actually it was just the training dummy for some reason, monsters show just fine!
availableusername  [author] 30 Jul, 2013 @ 3:20am
@Acps
No, that shouldn't be possible. All this mod does is replace the old damage font with another one. Physical damage shows fine for me, does this happen on all characters with different weapons or just in one case?
Addy 30 Jul, 2013 @ 3:07am
is there a reason that physical damage that does not crit, does not show?
=Snappy= 29 Jul, 2013 @ 11:22pm
not that your hard work is not appreciated, but... i hated the font. not cleaner, in fact more obstructive. also not the right style for this game. seems more sci-fi. ymmv.

То что надо) Спасибо):B1:
alanoppad 20 Jul, 2013 @ 9:05am
This is a great mod for people that are (partially) color blind as I can see what damage and all is going on now. Thanks.
sepercrod 16 Jul, 2013 @ 1:46pm
This looks good, thanks!

@mamba
Go ahead, this one shouldn't be in need of frequent updates anyway
mamba 24 May, 2013 @ 1:14pm
Hi, I would like to integrate your mod into the mod-merge mod I am currently working on and building for personal use (and intend to later publish). Please let me know if you are ok with this. Thanks
Lilrex 8 May, 2013 @ 7:07pm
I dont see anything super different. How do i know if it is working
Joshua Raposa 8 May, 2013 @ 2:39pm
I love it! Thanks
Gostbloo 25 Apr, 2013 @ 3:29pm
Think I have to agree with everyone else and say... I love this mod. As far as game changing mods go this is right next to synergies for me. haha Keep it up!
Internet_Hero 20 Apr, 2013 @ 9:59am
I love mods like this. Keep up the awesome work.
CommandantSnackTime 12 Apr, 2013 @ 9:53pm
I really can't do justice to how much this improves the game for me, even though its such a small change. Liked this one a lot.
olé 10 Apr, 2013 @ 11:11pm
Awesome, I loved it :D Thanks.
buenonana32 9 Apr, 2013 @ 6:47pm

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks the original combat text was horrible to read :3
OpTricky 9 Apr, 2013 @ 7:57am
How do I download it?
Zar 7 Apr, 2013 @ 4:09pm
Thank you for fixing this. Works great now :)
availableusername  [author] 7 Apr, 2013 @ 3:01pm
@Zar: Okay, I tried it myself and couldn't get it to work either at first. It's because the german UI uses another font for the damage. And I can't replace this, because, this would change almost every menu which looks hilarious. But I managed to get it to work by changing not only the font itself but also the file which defines the font under the specific name so that the game knows which one to use. Works for me now, but I can't guarantee for umlaute, if there are any. This goes for Mandarin, Taiwanese, and Japanese as well. Russian and Polish should have been fine anyway, since they use the same font as the english one.
Zar 7 Apr, 2013 @ 2:09pm
Dont work for me (german ingame language)
Tim nice but dim 7 Apr, 2013 @ 11:56am
This mod is so good. Thanks for making it.
availableusername  [author] 6 Apr, 2013 @ 8:55am
@:DestY!
I added the font to the translation-folders as well, it should work now for other languages as well.
Alva 6 Apr, 2013 @ 8:36am
It doesn't work if I set my ingame language to german. :(
Snake 6 Apr, 2013 @ 4:39am
Good stuff! Like the new font, it's slightly more readable and just more pleasant to look at.
availableusername  [author] 6 Apr, 2013 @ 4:13am
@Tsyoisi
I'm sorry, there's nothing I could do about that, since the font simply doesn't contain chinese symbols and the decision WHICH information is displayed as combat text (i.e. text + numbers) seems to be hardcoded into the game and not moddable. So I couldn't disassociate the "crit/block/fame"-messages from the simple damage-numbers, even if I wanted to.
AguilaDeAcero 5 Apr, 2013 @ 11:40pm
I LIKE THIS ONE!! Excellent work, must have. 8.5+
ChizFreak 5 Apr, 2013 @ 5:30pm
This is so simple, yet so awesome.
WarmSoda 5 Apr, 2013 @ 1:02pm
Great mod! :D
