Well, well, another great veteran scenario. Enjoyed a lot, and the season-weather allowed for lovely captures as well.

The Rs11 is one of those engines where you can love it or hate it. It all depends on how you use. Elphaba you did a great run.

transstar43: No other such reports among 1,000+ downloads of this scenario. Are you sure you have all required DLC and/or you might try a cache clear or verify.

Great scenerio, excellent AI traffic. Love running the Alco!! Thanks for your efforts, fantastic work!! :)

jasper3844: Thanks for your interest and comments, appreciated. Unfortunately having helpers cut off in a realistic way in mid-scenario is hard to achieve at present. Basically about all one can do is stop and drop them off on the mainline and/or run the train into a siding to drop them there.

Cool run. The extra helper made for smoother running up the slope from Altoona to Cresson. Modern practice is to cut the helpers at Cresson. Is there any way to incorporate this practice in a scenario? Still, another fantastic run.

It's ok I sussed it. You have to click the "Workshop" button to play any of the scenarios from here first. Excellent scenario :-). I noticed the engine temp on the Alco was creeping up a lot with the red light lit up quite a lot on the run up to Galitzin so you have to manage the throttle a lot but got it over and down the other side ok
High Iron Simulations  [author] 1 Jun, 2013 @ 5:14am
moonraker65: That's unusual. When having issues, alwauys good to try these two steps:

Clear cache: To clear your blueprint cache, start TS2013 and go to "main menu," then click on "game settings," then select "tools," and finally click on "clear cache."

Verify your files: Go to your "Library" tab in Steam and click on it to bring up your list of games - then right-click on Train Simulator which will bring up "properties". Click on that and you will see a tab called "local files." That will then take you to the option to "Verify integrity of game cache."

I got the Alco RS 11 add on yesterday and Horseshoe Curve route last year
moonraker65 1 Jun, 2013 @ 2:28am
I've downloaded this and the Piggyback Pioneer scenarios for TS 2013 but for some reason they don't show up in the scenario list once they've downloaded and installed from the workshop. Any ideas ?
