I just tested Variant Classes and you're right all the skills are there and everything looks much cleaner. And I do need to re-create my hero =*( but it seems worth it.
By the way, you've done some amazing work on this class! I don't understand how you programmed half the stuff you did. GUTS is a great program but it can be overwhelming. And there aren't many decent tutorials out there. I'm very impressed with this.
You can either subscribe here since this is the only mod I can guarantee is the finalized Nethermancer, or try this compilation that says it has the final version (not to mention having 4x as many classes as Awesome Classes). Different mod means you'll need to start a new character, but there was so much added in those 9 months that I highly recommend making the jump anyway.
I have reason to believe that the multiplayer issues are coming from the UNITTYPE of certain classes, specially the ones that are benefiting on vanilla classes. I learned about this on my human companion mods and the UNITTYPE changes will be applied on the next update of Variant . I'll report back here if it is successful.
I asked kindly for your attention and to inform you that your brilliant mod have been included in a class mod compilation entitled Variant .
If you have objection or any opinion on the matter, we will take it with great respect and we will abide to your wishes.
Thank you and best regards!
The polish on the skills' aesthetics and animation really made the mod for me. Doesn't matter if it's "OP", it's still the class i enjoy the most in the workshop.
Good luck on your further projects, whether it's modding or not.
Anyways - ever if I've found this mod a bit OP, you did great work. Big thanks for that
For one thing, I've been done with TL2 altogether for a long time. I haven't seriously touched the game or this mod for years now, and don't predict that I will any time soon. I should probably take that "work in progress" part out of the description, huh?
Third, and I don't want to sound like I'm blaming Runic here, but TL2's multiplayer was always relatively unstable even without mods, and GUTS... I've fixed a broken skill by changing literally nothing but the name. Not even the file name or displayed name, just the internal name that's never actually used outside of the editor. For all I know, there might not be an answer, this mod might just be cursed.
I wish I could give a happier answer than that, but barring some unlikely combination of events, this is the final product. Flaws and all.
No modchanges in between. Only one reboot. Maybe the devs can answer on this one, why it is like this?
love the class, but just wanna make sure it's playable with friends
