the upgradeable devices mod works fine, but this one seems to break
Note that it is outdated and only includes ToG + vanilla
The Problem with high seas is that im currently on a break from modding. If i find some motivation i might update the mod for high seas, but not in the foreseeable future

i think samster has some knowledge in trying to implement indef in his own mod ;)
I've also noticed when upgrading turbines with the upgrade hotkey 'U' it first upgrades to vanilla turbines and then the next upgrade is a free upgrade to indef turbines, however you can get around this by manually hitting the correct upgrade button (this issue does not happen with mines though, it just goes straight to indef upgrades).
As long as a map creator does not record an AI with this mod, the skirmish AI won't ever use those upgades. Afaik there is no map that has such an AI
Also Hi hope all is well.
I set the limit to 64 as during time of creation of the mod, adding too many weapons would result in a game slowdown or even a crash. This has been patched since quite some time now tho. I didnt feel the need to increase the limit, but if you really want op weapons, have a look at IUW Meme Edition
So, let´s hope I will figure this out :c

but keep in mind that indef does some stuff differently than other mods and might not be too beginner friendly :)
- Indef doesn't include its own sprites - it reuses those from vanilla Forts and tints them :)
- The [weapon].lua files have been automaticly generated so they might be hard to read
- Also weapon_list.lua and preojectile_list.lua might be hared to read for a beginner since it does things which a mod "only" adding a few upgrades doesn't do. Also those files became a bit cluttered over time - i really need to clean that up sometime in the future
The publishedfileid can be found by hitting the "share" button. The number at the end is what you are looking for ;)

I am very new to modding and do not yet have enough experience to get new contend to work out for me.
I would love to do more things then to change already existing weapons and actually add new stuff.
Anyway, I would like to ask you for permission to use the files for tier 2/3 base game and ToG weaponry if that´s fine and also Tier 2/3 devices from your other indef. mod that includes device upgrades. I would make them a non upgrade if the sprites for that are included, in the case you would be generous and grant permission I would also need to know the publishedfileids of both so I can find it in my workshop saves. Thanks for reading through my bargaining,
also I will give credit in the description of said mod for everything taken, just saying for the case you care about that.

i believe this is more of a problem with Forts in general than with my mod in particular. Did you try to reinstall Forts ?
(uninstall Forts and make sure "steamapps/common/Forts" and "steamapps/workshop/content/410900" are empty or don't exist )

So you've build an upgradecenter and placed a vanilla weapon (i.e.: sniper) and can't upgrade him past 1 Level?
