i used this mod and liked it then today i used it again and it killed my textures turning all materials into miniguns and i just wanted to know if its just me or if this has happened to others (trust me its cursed)

also i did some more testing, and literally the only way it breaks is if you use scattershot, then it just implodes and breaks all the textures, i have no idea why 1 commander (maybe more) breaks all the textures.

this mod seems to be a little broken, my textures have a stroke when trying to use it

can you add a anti mortar missile launcher or even an anti missile missile launcher that if misses target turns around to hit ti? I don't even know if this is possible or not.

Note that it is outdated and only includes ToG + vanilla

The Problem with high seas is that im currently on a break from modding. If i find some motivation i might update the mod for high seas, but not in the foreseeable future

for simple weapons i guess this can be quite easy. For projectiles that spawn multiple projectiles it can be a bit tougher depending on what you want to alter :P

i think samster has some knowledge in trying to implement indef in his own mod ;)

i also noticed the issue with overdrive yesterday, but as it seems i have no control over which upgrade is the first one in the list. I already contacted the devs - for now you just have to live with that sadly - i could find the same issue on "They call it a mine", "Tanya's" and "What are Tiers"

With the most recent commanders update a bug has cropped up. When using upgrade and using the upgrade hotkey 'U', it no longer continues to upgrade indefinitely but instead downgrades. You have to click the weapon and manually click the correct upgrade button. Otherwise if you just use the hotkey you get in an endless cycle of upgrade, downgrade, upgrade, downgrade, etc.

I've also noticed when upgrading turbines with the upgrade hotkey 'U' it first upgrades to vanilla turbines and then the next upgrade is a free upgrade to indef turbines, however you can get around this by manually hitting the correct upgrade button (this issue does not happen with mines though, it just goes straight to indef upgrades).

The AI is unaffected by the mod - the only update to the ai is that it can shoot down upgraded rocket/mortar projectiles ;)
As long as a map creator does not record an AI with this mod, the skirmish AI won't ever use those upgades. Afaik there is no map that has such an AI

I set the limit to 64 as during time of creation of the mod, adding too many weapons would result in a game slowdown or even a crash. This has been patched since quite some time now tho. I didnt feel the need to increase the limit, but if you really want op weapons, have a look at IUW Meme Edition

Hey,
permission granted
but keep in mind that indef does some stuff differently than other mods and might not be too beginner friendly :)

- Indef doesn't include its own sprites - it reuses those from vanilla Forts and tints them :)
- The [weapon].lua files have been automaticly generated so they might be hard to read
- Also weapon_list.lua and preojectile_list.lua might be hared to read for a beginner since it does things which a mod "only" adding a few upgrades doesn't do. Also those files became a bit cluttered over time - i really need to clean that up sometime in the future

The publishedfileid can be found by hitting the "share" button. The number at the end is what you are looking for ;)

Ximsa, I´ve come to bargain.
I am very new to modding and do not yet have enough experience to get new contend to work out for me.
I would love to do more things then to change already existing weapons and actually add new stuff.
Anyway, I would like to ask you for permission to use the files for tier 2/3 base game and ToG weaponry if that´s fine and also Tier 2/3 devices from your other indef. mod that includes device upgrades. I would make them a non upgrade if the sprites for that are included, in the case you would be generous and grant permission I would also need to know the publishedfileids of both so I can find it in my workshop saves. Thanks for reading through my bargaining,
also I will give credit in the description of said mod for everything taken, just saying for the case you care about that.
If yes, thanks a lot for your help, I apprechiate the generosity :D
If no, I can understand and will try to find a differant way to get things to work out hopefully ;}

i was reading that on th forts discord ;)
i believe this is more of a problem with Forts in general than with my mod in particular. Did you try to reinstall Forts ?
(uninstall Forts and make sure "steamapps/common/Forts" and "steamapps/workshop/content/410900" are empty or don't exist )
