I don't mod Starbound anymore, but it is possible. I removed the feature though because as I said to someone else, laying on dirt shouldn't heal you, and also considering that the DLS costs a few pixels.
plz
It does have that feature, as it is just an invisible sleeping bag, but the size of 1 block.
Do you notice how furniture flip whenever you press A or D? That determines where the character would face whenever they interact with them. Maybe you can implement this to your mod so it's more favorable?
I'm not sure if I'll ever get back to making Designated Sitting Spots , due to the nature of how the sitting pose is. I'd have to create a custom pose if I wanted to do it the way I have in my head, and since I don't know how to do that just yet, it's sort of on the backlog.
No promises, as I think your character would float unless I figure out a custom pose, but I'll try remember to do this when I can so no worries :D
It should be just 1x1, practically impossible to see.
I might make a version in the future, along with my RP objects mod, that adds a similar laying spot, that looks like a cot with no sheets.
and isn't it's visibleaty level at like 0%? you can't make 0% visibleaty more visible, only make it visible.
Sadly, making it anymore visible would defeat the point, however it is relatively easy to find. Just take out your Matter Manipulator and hold shift, then drag it across the ground where your character last was laying.
Another thing, is that when your character lays down, the 'object' is right near their head. That should help in finding it.
I'm doing my best, but life is taking up so much of my time! Don't worry though, it'll eventually become a reality.
Thanks for your support.
Open the crafting menu and craft a DLS spot with one pixel.
It functions like an invisible bed so just place it down on the floor and press E.
Few minutes later for me, a meteor smashes at my location...
"Well damn..."
You're welcome.
Thanks, OP.
I'll definitely be making a seperate RP objects mod now!
Thank you all! :D
Frackin' Universe, I think.
No need to be so instantly hostile. I was also playing around with you.
Your research area has been expanded.
@officer swagdaddy
I'd prefer a medical professional, to be honest.
Ew.
Nothing better like studying the meteor pieces in your backyard.
