yeah, though least with mechadart rifles it is kinda balanced by the fact that if you friendly fire...uh whoop,s there goes jim the cook

@BrenTenkage Oh yeah, don't worry. If it gets an effect nerf, it'll be a slower freeze buildup or something like that, plus increased costs. Same for the Mechadart Rifle... That thing is frankly far too potent at the moment lmao

Weaker options like the crossbow are more being weighed against their vanilla rivals, in this case the Nerve Spiker, DU rifles against a certain unique weapon, Plasmathrowers against the Incinerator, stuff like that

Naw, keep it op, but if I were to recommend a balance, include a cost like a persona core to make it, like "you need a persona core to properly regulate and control all the internal cryo parts" or somethin

Updated for 1.6/Odyssey! I'm beginning to see some issues with certain weapons in the mod, mostly related to long-term balance and overlaps with vanilla weapon niches, so things will likely be reworked eventually. I'll do my best to try and retain compatibility as I have with any update that removes/reworks stuff for EFW, so we'll see how things go :meephappy:

Updated to 1.4! Admittedly I'm still in a 1.3 save, so was more than a little distracted in terms of updating to 1.4 and Biotech. More is still in the works for this, but I am split heavily between my hobbies, work and other projects, so it'll take some time, but stay tuned!

Have finally gotten back enough to make some changes people had been asking for! The ideas for new mines and a couple of other changes are in the works for the moment, as I wanted to prioritise these balance changes (and a few bugfixes) before any new content was added.

I will also be looking further into trying to reduce the commonality of Rocket Vulcans on Centipedes (for now, they're disabled on them!) and making the Dual Wield setup automatic, alongside my other unpublished ideas. If anyone else has suggestions, feel free to use the Suggestions and Changes thread above! :winter2019happyyul:

@Darmgeknusper The tranq mine would be doable, and I'm sure I could write some thematic lore around how it'd work, although without a mod to change it the vanilla game has a default of 66% chance of instant death-on-downed for AI pawns, subject to change with difficulty/storyteller/scenario. I'll add it to my list for potential implementation next time I do a content update ;)

An orbital chicken army would likely not be the case, mostly as that would require C# to operate, which I am yet to find the time to learn alongside IRL and other projects :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

@ExoticButts Would be nice to also have a Slime/Tranquiliser Mine for making prisoners too. Think nobody made it yet. Also a Orbital Chicken Army would be the dream. Are you still working on it or are you done with this project?

Think I saw all weapons with the devtool. They are awesome on a creativ level, some are kinda OP but I love it. It's probably the coolest weapon pack because of the diverse abilities. Totally worth it.:steamthumbsup:

@D_F_N I previously had such a list on the main mod page here, but it was rather unsightly and bloated it all out a bit. I can make a new list under a dedicated discussion, but what would you expect to see from such a list?

A lot of the weapons fill niches that aren't necessarily filled by vanilla, but don't do anything super unusual (e.g. Throwing Rocks, Slings, etc.). In this case, all an entry would say is "shoots a projectile that looks like X", unless you're asking for a full stats list?

Yeah you should be able to just find them when you spawn weapons in debug/enter godmode and go to building tab then security. Unless you dont mean the dartrifle or the IEDs

@SonOfUnagi possibly a mod conflict, as they should show up in Debug > Spawn weapon > Dartrifle/in the Security tab when using Debug > Finish All Research > Enable Godmode.

I HAVE used WhatTheHack, but the costs are quite high and I found it underwhelming. My first mechanoid drop for this colony I tried three times. Each had a centipede with a rocket mini-gun.
With the way armor works now and a serious lack of armor piercing firepower for medium/close range, I was in trouble.
Only ranged shields are going to save me from something like that..always fun coming up with new strats for new situations
