Couple issues I ran into right away on the map. Check my profile for the screenshots of location. You can fall through the walkway between sandbags and be stuck inside.

Really liked the latest update. The map feels more trimmed for sure. Had a close match that went until the last minute with the VC threatening Charlie point the entire time. 4 loaches was a neat idea, the map does feel super unique now.

Problems

1. Defender's run a shorter distance to defend than the attackers have to run to attack
2. Constant recon coverage ensures that VC cannot sneak
3. The large killzone outside the base walls makes the run up for VC across open ground nearly impossible.
4. Smoke grenades don't provide enough degrees of cover to be utilized effectively, nor can they be thrown far enough to really get up close to the walls.
5. Americans have a disproportionate amount of fire support.

Solutions

More hard cover and debris for attackers outside the firebase walls

Closer VC spawns on attack and reduce distance from the treeline to the base walls

Maybe a tunnel system that runs underground and exits close to the firebase walls with multiple exits all around the base

I'll have to look at the results more, I wouldn't jump to unbalanced or unfair just yet. One game is one game etc etc, will have to see trends before I can make any changes. With play throughs I'll see so I can balance it.

Why not just add spawn protection area? That'll lock the defenders into the base.

I don't know about adding combat restrictions for defenders, as long as they cant leave the base its fine with me. I dont know if I'll be adding more objectives, I wanted to aim for it to be a shorter map instead of one of those long and boring 40-50 min maps

Excited to see where this map goes. I think it would actually be neat to have more objectives and possibly expand the map.

Well, I'm not sure how you can do this. You will have to ask someone else but I find that the US loses their tickets way before the second capture point has even been taken. Also I remember somewhere on the right side from the US spawn, one of the watchtowers has a broken ladder.

The PAVN side needs to be rebalanced bad. Other than that it's my favorite map.

@GAYBRIEL yeah maybe , but US has no napalm or artillery while the north does so it has to be tested , it actually makes sense that US has no arty or napalm since they are in their base

The US only have spooky and the PAVN have everything but SAMS, meaning they have their full kit. I think it may end up PAVN sided but this is an early version and has yet to be played on a server, we'll have to wait and see.

Just a heads up (Yet to playtest this map) having Spooky without the North's ability to use SAMs might be overpowered.
