The game is still completely playable using this mod. Though, it appears Missions Expanded has recently been marked unusable, despite working just a day ago.

@Verlurion: I am currently not playing eu4 at all, so I have little interest in keeping my mods updated. I may come back and update some day, but for now you may indeed consider it dead.

I've created a modification of this mod that replaces the ME and Vanilla government reforms with the new IV government reform system, for those who prefer to use those.

Would it be possible to rework this mod into compatibility for the "expanded" mods in general? Not only missions expanded, but governments is also now broken, and because of that you can't use Byzantine Ressurgence either.

It seems that last patch from idea variation changed how government reforms work so that you choose them via decisions. It seems that mission's expanded mod somehow interferes with that making it so this new government decisions do nothing.

@Budd: Neither Missions Expanded nor this patch touch policies, so if your policies are broken they are either broken in Idea Variation or you have something else causing an imcompatibility.

If anyone want to fix missions if they are broke just move them to the missions area in the compatibility patch mod to fix it. Exit the game and it should be fixed

The mayan mission "Mayan Missionaries" require a religious idea to be taken. However, it doesn't works with the "Mayan Ideas".

I'm having a bug where I as prussia have the benefits of Prussian Monarchy government reform, but my king has "notitle" as his title, heir has dissapeared, legitimacy display is blank, and my government type is not defined?

The Italian missions that require you to have three buildings in certain provinces don't recognize all the buildings.

Can't build the "Fleet Base" says it needs "UUC= 9991221" or something like that. The build tile is red in the macro-builder and I can't use it even though I've unlocked the idea group and idea needed to build it. Only building it does that for. Missions Expanded is the only other mod I have that has a "buildings" folder and I have the compatibility patch so I'm not sure what's up. Any help and thanks!

Is anyone else maybe having issues with this mod lately? I love both the main mods and saw that the creator of Idea Variation said it was probably this. Anyone wanna confirm that? I love this mod because it lets me play two beautiful mods together.

Neither the idea variation nor missions expanded remove the naval reformer advisor. You should still be able to acquire one.

In the Holland mission tree, you are asked to take a naval reformer, although he doesn't exist anymore.

@The Shotgun Boi: As far as I know ME and BT are not compatible. Couldn't say how bad the incompatibility is. I've been asked for a compatibility patch between those two, but life is too busy atm for me to make and maintain that.

@AFGHAN PSYCHO @drumheller101 : I can't reproduce this issue. I've started multiple games with this patch and a few other mods and I have not encountered it. I also doubt that this patch would create that issue, looking at the files it touches. Are you playing the latest eu4 version? Perhaps check the game's file integrity, and delete the contents of your mod folder to let all mods redownload. Or start new games by adding one mod at a time to see which one actually crashes you. I can't find this issue, so unless you guys find the cause I can't help fix it.

I am having the same problem that Potatospiderman mentioned. I keep crashing on exactly Dec 22nd at the beginning of the game.
