@ovith - Specialists should still produce some unhappiness, all population does - the UA simply removes the extra that they are given on top. Being a very gold-focused civ I would hope you could dominate the citystate game!

specialists still produce unhappiness. otherwise great mod. i dont know how but it makes alliance with most of the city states and can compete with greece.

fair enough

You should be a city state not a civ.

Should be a city state, not a civ

Great mods. I was wondering if I could commission you to create me a mod for private use. pay and compensation will be provided. Mostly just new buildings.nothing too complicated.

@Veni Vedi Nietzsche - I'm not sure, I believe it would stack making specialists produce 0 unhappiness. It's worth testing but not something I'm particularly worried about.

How does this work with the Freedom Tenant where specialist unhappiness is reduced?

@Jormundgand
Schleswig-Holstein in whole was never Danish,the south always was German or Slavik.
The city of Lübeck/Lybaek fought several times against the Danish crown,because it was head of the Hansa.
One thing you could say,is that the area Slevig was most of the time danish.

@Feurisson - Awesome! I'm glad you like it! I'll make sure to update the mod soonish to fix Niebüll and probably swap Norderstedt and Lauenburg's list positions. :)
Fiona Danger  [author] 4 May, 2018 @ 12:33am
@Jormundgand - Never technically, but medieval independence has always been somewhat iffy, even moreso here in Schleswig-Holstein where it was not only part of Denmark but a member of the HRE and the seat of the Hanseatic League. Because of this, and its historic interest, I figured it would be more than fine as a civ of its own.

Now we only need Berlin as a Civilisation with the BER Airport construction site as a unique modern age building replacement :D

@Fiona Danger no Sorry iam only a dumb Prussian ;-P Nordrhein-Westfalian. But i thought about how it would be, to include Nordrhein Westfalen into this Game O.o Ok.. a little wierd. But well everybody likes it another way.
Feurisson 3 May, 2018 @ 11:04am
You misspelled "Niebüll" (it's "Neibüll" in the game), and I would put Norderstedt at the bottom of the list, since it's the youngest of all cities (only came to be via a merger of several smaller places in the 20th century). Lauenburg should also be higher on the list, since it was the seat of a duchy of its own once.
Feurisson 3 May, 2018 @ 11:01am
I'm actually native to Schleswig-Holstein myself.
I think it's great, you even included my hometown :D That's so great, thank you.
I just hope the civilization isn't overpowered in the game.

Just being currious. As far as I know, SH was under Danish rule from 811 (at least) to 1864 and then under Prussian rule, with no period where SH was ever independent. Am I wrong?
Fiona Danger  [author] 3 May, 2018 @ 12:06am
@PhilosNekero - Are you a Schleswig-Holsteiner? I got some input from German and Danish firends while developing, but would love to hear what a native thinks.

This is amazing! Do you have a city list?
Karma 2 May, 2018 @ 2:34pm
@Fiona Thx :)

Fuer Lokalpatrioten sicher interessant ;-)
Fiona Danger  [author] 2 May, 2018 @ 4:20am
@Thunder Fist Maki - Yes, lakes and oasises are also valid for my Watergate.
Karma 2 May, 2018 @ 4:18am
The building says it needs fresh water but the watermill requires a river specifically; does your take lakes and oases into account?
Fiona Danger  [author] 1 May, 2018 @ 6:34am
@A-Hab It is strong, I have balanced my mod against the current modding meta not the vnailla one and power creep is definitely something that exists. That said, the specialist happiness element is rather weak, and the specialist yield gain is only per-city. You're still gonna be reaping in lots of specialist yields and by doing so maintaining a fortress thanks to the Watergate but it's at a cost to focusing on elements such as food and does require employing citizens and constructing high level infastructure.

pretty good civ but seems pretty op

This will synergize wonderfully with JFD’s Bavaria!
