So this camera it seems to me this camera will pickup ingame sounds just fine, but it will not pick up voices from TFAR when the camera is close to someone talking. Is that possible to fix somehow?

Would be amazing if we could someone send this to say an ipad, or android phone. The possibilities would amazing. I think with steams link you can open arma on a phone but not sure how all that may work. But boy the possibilities of extra small displays open at the same time..........................

The "L" key no longer seems to toggle the camera crosshair. In fact, I can't find any way to toggle the white dot crosshair at all (using any of the 'Bulldozer Look' commands gets rid of the red square, but not the dot). The only way I've found to get a proper, clean camera is to switch from cameraEffect "internal" to "external" i.e.:

indiCam_camera cameraEffect ["external", "back"];
cam camCommit 0;

La idea central de indiCam es usar una computadora separada para grabar secuencias de juego secundarias alrededor de un jugador en un servidor multiplicador sin la necesidad de mover manualmente la cámara.

Así que convierte el juego en una cámara robot automática. Una vez que se ha iniciado, seguirá la unidad seleccionada mientras cambia automáticamente entre los ángulos de la cámara según la situación y la visibilidad del objetivo.

La unidad objetivo puede ser un jugador o IA, así como cualquier facción.
Cualquier jugador con acceso al script puede usarlo, pero a partir de ahora solo se verifica para un usuario por sesión de juego. La cámara ocupará completamente la pantalla y la computadora que la ejecuta no podrá participar en el juego normal.

Una vez iniciado, se pueden utilizar las siguientes teclas (combinaciones de teclas CBA desde 1.31):
F1-Abra la GUI de indCam (desde v1.2)
F2-Force una nueva escena
F3-Force selecciona un nuevo actor aleatorio
F4-Alternar modo manual (la tecla L alternará el punto de mira de la cámara mientras el modo manual está activado)
F5-Modo de visión anterior
Modo de visión F6-Next
F9-Imprime el nombre de la escena actual en la pantalla

Las pulsaciones de teclas se basan en las teclas de función para seleccionar miembros del equipo. Entonces, si los ha desatado (F1-F10), es poco probable que el script funcione correctamente.
Las teclas de modo manual parecen estar basadas en las combinaciones de teclas "bulldozer" de Arma. Las combinaciones de teclas CBA se agregarán en una de las próximas actualizaciones.

why do you use the comment command in your code?
Switching to // or /* */ will give you faster code.

To quote the comment wiki:

This command is evaluated during execution, and as such is infinitely slower than other SQF comment methods (//comment or /*comment*/; which do not exist at runtime).

@[CoFR]Cpt.Riggs Do you mean exclude the cameraman from the visible list in the control window? If the cameraman has a name there I should remove that for sure.

The other thing is pretty interesting. Would be nice to clearly see the unit you are selectiing. I'll add that to the TODO-list as well

Loving the mod. Is there a way to exclude the 'camera man' from the list of possible actors? Disable some of the cams? Ie, choose not to have the directly down camera when the mod is choosing what cam to choose.

@brR I realize this is a late reply, but no. There is a key provided, but the server has to be configured to accept the mod. Most probably won't as it can be used to display any unit on the map.

The keypresses are based on the function keys for selecting squad members. So if you've unbound those (F1-F10), then the script is unlikely to work properly.
Manual mode keys seems to be based on the "seagull" keybinds in Arma.

Actually I wanna make a revision to my previous comment. Upon fiddling around with it more, I discovered that using the numpad arrows would allow you to manipulate where the camera was looking in manual mode. If you could find a way to bind this to the mouse movement then you actually have a solid restructure of GCam.

Furthermore if I could use a game controller to smoothen out my motions I think it would be doable. The only other thing that would be missing is a zoom function.

Why doesn't it work?
Once started, the following keys can be used:
F1-Close the camera
F2-Force a new scene
F3 - Force select a new random actor
F4 - Toggle manual mode (L-key will toggle the camera crosshair while manual mode is on)
F5-Previous vision mode
F6-Next vision mode

I'd personally love to see someone make a new version of GCam. It gets the job done... but for people who want to make really good looking cinematics, it's a bit hard to control. Not to mention it only moves on one axis at a time.

This mod would be great if I didn't need a second machine. It seems really useless to someone like myself who doesn't want to put a large sum of money into building a new rig just to get a decent video.

Hence what I was saying earlier. If you figured out how to manipulate a camera then why not create the next GCam but with more features? You could also implement the "automated" version into it as well so you can watch the thing play out on its own, being able to take over at any give moment.

Probably a lost dream but it would help so many people out who want to make videos. :P

@42nfl19 what you can do is sign into steam on the pc that you will be using indicam on put steam into offline mode get on arma 3 then join via a ip that way you wont have to buy the game again

Damn thats pretty cool, shame I'd need a second PC capable of running arma at good quality but there's not really any other way to do it. I'll definitely give it a go if I'm ever able to though.
