can you check a couple things? it would really help narrow down the issue
first add an item and check that it is added to the list (by scrolling down to the bottom of the config menu below the Reset option) if it's not there then it's not properly updating the list
second open the save.dat file at Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\data\itembanlist it should look something like 1:A>B.:C>D. and you should see the ID numbers of the items, if not then the mod isn't saving its data
then quit game and reload, continue the run, open the config menu and scroll to the bottom again, if the list is empty open the save file again, if the items don't appear in the config menu but are still in the save file then the data isn't being loaded, if the items were also missing from the save then something is causing the mod to think the save file is corrupt and its resetting itself
are there any error messages in your debug console?
but say you were to have a beggar item being replaced by a random item and there was a beggar in a devil room, the item would not be replaced by an item from the beggar pool but rather the devil pool, so basically for room item pools just setting random is fine, but for other item pools you would need to set a specific list of items it can be replaced with
I'll add a check into the mod to account for 1 item gaps (as opposed to no more items left) hopefully that should fix it
Is it possible that this only fulls works with Mod Config Menu - Continued and not with Mod Config Menu Pure?
AB+ save files are just in the mods folder, which is in 'Documents\my games\Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ Mods' , with Repentance theyre in 'Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\data'
i didn't have to use another mod then XD.
2. ban goat head and/or duality.
3. kill a boss.
you will get a dozen of items. weird bug.
addtoitemlist x>0
x means item's id.
0 means replace with any item, not specific.
any error messages in the console? (press ~)
I want it a lot !
