Really hoping this gets a nice update one day <3
Aaronnum I 26 Mar, 2021 @ 12:26am
Are you still working with this mod? Will it work with the Expanded Mod Family?
ReaPeR2039 3 Dec, 2020 @ 5:04am
Are you still working on the mod? i have a couple of natural wonder suggestions if you are?
lewisdoom 19 Sep, 2020 @ 1:43pm
is there a manual download for this anywhere? the workshops utterly a mess for me and it clearly isnt installing this properly as none of the modifiers appear when i enable it.
Lord Vis 21 Jun, 2020 @ 12:26pm
@Lk it might be the Emperor DLC, since it adds new buildings
Lord Vis 21 Jun, 2020 @ 12:25pm
It works after you unsub, delete *all* of its files, verify EU4, then resub to the mod. Idk if its a problem with the mod or the EU4 update, but it will work if you do those steps
Lk  [author] 21 Jun, 2020 @ 8:59am
@Fantasia, here's working fine. Idk what's happening. I made several tests using different countries and a different starting year for each. I was able to build buildings normally. I don't have the new DLC, I don't know with has something to do with that. Maybe it's ruining something about this mod and others, because I see people complaining about buildings using other mods too.
Fantasia 21 Jun, 2020 @ 12:34am
@Lk I have to agree with Lord Vis on this one. I'm also finding it impossible to build anything with this mod enabled.
Lord Vis 20 Jun, 2020 @ 7:29pm
Hmm, I will unsub, delete the files, and resub and see if that works. I disabled all other mods and enabled one each to find the culprit and it was this.
Lk  [author] 20 Jun, 2020 @ 7:02pm
@Lord Vis, I started a game just with this mod and it's working fine. I built buildings normally. Maybe other mod is doing that or anything else, idk. Check your files, maybe something is corrupted.

@Lemonz, yes. It's updated.
Lord Vis 20 Jun, 2020 @ 1:13pm
Though it doesn't say outdated, this mod currently makes it so you can't build buildings. Their costs are all messed up so they're greyed out
Lemonz 17 Jun, 2020 @ 10:54pm
Does this work with 1.30?
Nola 24 May, 2020 @ 8:19pm
Are you going to add the Theodosian walls? BTW, your mod is amazing!
Lk  [author] 24 May, 2020 @ 7:22pm
• Updated:

# Milan Cathedral: 104
# Florence Cathedral: 116
# Porcelain Tower: 1821

Now the initial NPM event will trigger sooner when starting a game.
Lk  [author] 24 May, 2020 @ 7:19pm
@Coalsack, thanks for the feedback! I'm adding some of your suggestions.

@Perry, thanks! I'll use this in the next update.
Perry7484 / Briantin de Montrei 24 May, 2020 @ 5:50pm
@Lk I see you did replace with events! :D
But you didn't change the mod desc... :(

Instead of using mean_time_to_happen, you could use an on_action.

In the folder common/on_actions, add a .txt "npm_on_actions" containing this:

on_startup = {
country_event = {
npmevent.1 #New Province Modifiers Setup
fire_only_once = yes
}
}

^This will guarantee your mod starts immediately (or perhaps within the 1st day) when starting a game. Though you will need to remove the mean_time_to_happen from the original event.
Coalsack 15 May, 2020 @ 8:13pm
Wonderful mod. I love all the modifiers. I love specially the ones in Constantinople and along the Brazilian coast. If you'd like suggestions, I've got some

-Villa Rica de Vera Cruz (2647) First Spanish settlement on the American Mainland.
-Monarch butterflies (Michoacan, 2624, 2622, 4573, 4674)
-Santa Maria di Fiore (Firenze, 116) The jewel of the Renaissance
-Milan Cathedral (Lombardia, 104)
-Palatine Chapel (Aachen, 1878)
-Shwedagon Pagoda (Dagon, 4399)
-Pagan temple complex (Pagan, 2399)
-Tower of Victory/Vijayha Stambha (Chittor, 518)
-Gol Gumbaz (Bijapur, 569) Apex of Indo-Islamic architecture before Taj Mahal.
-Porcelain Tower (Nanjing, 1821)
-Potala Palace (Lhasa, 677)

In any case, this thing mixed with the modifiers added with the Missions Expanded make the provinces really feel alive.
Big Hand 12 Apr, 2020 @ 9:24pm
This is an excellent mod, it's found a permanent home on my list :D
Lk  [author] 6 Apr, 2020 @ 8:33am
@Sticky-Tissue, moved. Thanks for the feedback!
bunnykunny 6 Apr, 2020 @ 5:13am
Thank you for this awesome mod!
One suggestion though: Can you move the province modifier for mount fuji to the province of Kai (its ID 1029 iirc) as it is a more accurate location?

• Updated:

# Chernozem Soil: 2411 2413 283 282 4531 299 2421 1082 1972 4265 4687 467 2415 304 2423

Province modifiers are now activated by an event at the start of the game. You only need to wait a few days and it will be triggered. The mod doesn't use the history files anymore.

Now you can use this mod with mods that change the province history files, but if they change the provinces' ID instead of adding more to the sequence (as paradox does when they create new provinces) the New Province Modifiers will be placed on the wrong spots.
Colonel Moldcock 29 Jan, 2020 @ 8:33am
Thanks for adding stuff for Russia!

I had an idea for something more though. Maybe you can add a modifier for the fertile black soil (chernozem) for regions of Belarus, Ukraine and western Russia which produce grain? Would fit in nicely and give more stuff for Russia.

Lk  [author] 11 Nov, 2019 @ 1:55pm
@Perry, I tried, but I couldn't make it work.
Perry7484 / Briantin de Montrei 10 Nov, 2019 @ 8:34pm
@L. Quintino, something of note:

For provinces, it would enhance compatibility greatly to make these modifers activate by a hidden event at start, rather than editing the province history files. Beyond Typus plays with the development, ET with the cultures+religions, Paradox with how many there are and whatever little tweaks they feel like making to them. Modifiers by event rather than editing the province histories would ensure that the mod works in a lot more of these different scenarios, and reduce the overall filesize.

"Russia Update"

# Aurora: 1777 - Kola
# Lake Baikal: 1055, 1056, 1057, 1060 - Verkne-Angarsky, Barguzinsky, Udinsky, Irkutsk
# Some German descriptions and titles for the modifiers
SkyRipper 18 Sep, 2019 @ 4:31am
@Zarion Paradox never changes province ID that's why Sweden has provinces from 1-10 ID but then some 4000+ because they are new, so any province that existed should be unchanged and the mod should work. (i may be wrong because i haven't tried yet but give it a try and see)
Zarion 17 Sep, 2019 @ 1:23pm
Question, I maintain a slightly different version of this mod that works with some other mods I use, did either 1.28 or 1.29 change anything with this mod, did it change any province id's?
Slothcat 10 Jun, 2019 @ 2:36pm
I went to see how this might conflict with a mod like ET and I saw something amusing: In the beginning year Ming had 5 provinces claimed in North America, 1 in Africa, and 2 China.
piratical criminal 22 Apr, 2019 @ 12:53pm
Thanks for adding the Notre Dame OP, great addition to this already great mod
Lk  [author] 21 Apr, 2019 @ 2:06pm
Updated.

# Notre-Dame de Paris added.
# Balance
Lk  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 5:35am
@Giro Tortellini, thanks for let me know. I will fix that.
lustigersamurai 28 Feb, 2019 @ 8:09pm
I found a mistake with the province modifier of the Bamyan Buddhas in Bamyan. The modifier doesn't show up cause you typed in "buddhas_of_bamiyan", but your modifier is called "buddhas_bamiyan".
Colonel Moldcock 14 Feb, 2019 @ 8:04am
Russia doesn't get much love in this mod :(
Noodle Donger /(◔ ◡ ◔)/ 13 Feb, 2019 @ 1:57pm
Update soon?
Marinho 16 Dec, 2018 @ 8:22am
Is it possible to have some events pop up when you conquering some of these provinces?
So one can read up on the historical importance of that place for some Nations or a flavor text to create more in deph?
Lk  [author] 14 Dec, 2018 @ 9:57am
@taolu666 fixed, thanks
taolu666 14 Dec, 2018 @ 8:32am
A great mod improving immersion and informed me of many interesting locations during boring coloning! But dude! You misspelled the word strength in the triggered_modifier Buddhist Unity! And the religion is called confusionism instead of confucian in the province_triggered modifier temple of confusius
Lk  [author] 14 Dec, 2018 @ 7:23am
Updated.

Any issues or something weird coming from the new EU4 updates, please tell me.
Buddy413 13 Dec, 2018 @ 5:55pm
hey, I hope you plan to update this soon... this is one of my favorite mods for this game
Lk  [author] 26 Nov, 2018 @ 3:01pm
@SeniorBlak, maybe it's an incompatibility with another mod (probably overwriting the provinces files). Have you tried running this mod alone?
BRÄWUß 26 Nov, 2018 @ 2:54pm
dont appears in specified provinces, help plz
Triste 2 Nov, 2018 @ 2:34pm
no problem that nepal thing really bothered me lmao
Lk  [author] 2 Nov, 2018 @ 2:28pm
@purple stars
This Nepal thing is a change from the last updates. I'm fixing this now, thanks.
I'll take a look at Mamluks and maybe do some balancing if they're OP.
Thanks for the feedback. (=
Triste 2 Nov, 2018 @ 12:32pm
also why does this mod force Nepal to already exist from 1444
Triste 2 Nov, 2018 @ 10:46am
one question; did you intend to give the mamluks like 4 buffs from the start of the game? im not saying its a bad thing, it hardley makes them overpowered, but they start out with the Dead Sea modifier, the Conquest of Jerusalem (from the base game i think), and if i remember correctly the Pyramid of Giza modifier
