Sorry this took as long as it did guys. I had kindof moved on from L4D2 modding until I started playing again recently. Checked the mods and found out about this. It was a small error in a vmt file that took no time to fix.

Yeah same issue with pink textures

I've encountered a weird issue on this. The lower half of the model seems to have this pink layer over it, like there's some kind of missing textures. Shining the flashlight on it seems to reveal the proper textures, so does going into dark areas. Any help with this? I've tried unsubbing from the original mod, installing and reinstalling this, lowering my graphics settings, but the issues still persists.

Unfortunately no. My knowledge is limited to mild texture work. I tried model hacking a few times in the past and it was a Brick wall I could never get around.

Im surprised there hasn't been an attempt. There's plenty of assets available for someone to at least hack together a model.

I would like to, but L4D2 is very fickle in this area from my experience, and I still have yet to get a player model replacement working properly.
