I return two months later to report that the bug is still there :( It is way more prevalent for the music to reset in gun game, but it still resets from the beginning randomly in deathmatch as well.

that music glitch was actually fixed in my contractors port of this map. I went ahead and back ported the music fix but until pavlov updates to UE5 im going to hold off on adding the major changes like I did in contractors (like the upper forest area etc)

Love this map but I hate that the music just randomly resets from the beginning. It's really annoying after a while.

- redid secret area
* windwaker players will know where to look :3
- beedles boat now has collision
* climable
- added the bridge
- added more ladders
* visible and invisible for small rocks to climb over
- added "jump spots"
* not really jump spots, just invisible paths so you can cross most places that 'feel' jumpable, ie
gaps to roof tops or cliff side (try walking across anything 2-3ft away)
- added more spawns and fixed some of the bots stuck points
* may be some that still won't move, just kill and they should respawn at a better location, but
they should be a lot more playable now

still lots to do still (expect more soon-ish), learning as I go but it's fun. Thanks to everyone who plays it (:

patchnotes:

- adjusted volume of music lower
* it's at 50% rn, and I tested with full volume for everything so the gunshots are more loud now.
should be a less overpowering
- changed the lighting to resemble the original cel-shaded look more, no glossy look
* shoreline a bit transparent now and needs fixing, but everything else looks a lot better and
black/bad shadows are gone
- added tetras pirateship
- added outer islands in distance
- added king of red lions
- added grass and flowers
- added doors to huts for more protection
- moved pots to their original location

Thanks! I added SnD spawns so it's playable (terrorists start on the top hill and try to bomb the house nearest the boat), and upped the DM spawns from like 20ish to 140ish

I'm hoping that alleviates feeling like you get spawn killed as much. The bots may not be able to get down from some points yet but I'm gonna fix that here soon


Also working on a larger update overall, so stay tuned ^_^

to the guy who asked for super mario 64, there is literally a map that turns the game into super mario 64. you can fight bosses, collect stars, get red coins, and fight bowser and shit

One suggestion for the map creator. It would be awesome if you could add more boats in the water and that people could actually sail on them. I guess you could use the same mechanics that are used in maps with tanks. One of the players on our server has suggested this, and I think it would make the map so much more fun to play.

I love it. Only slight criticism I have is people can hide in the water and snipe and you literally can't see them.

One of the most fun maps in Pavlov! Performance is amazing and it's just so much fun to play!

I would like some more teleports though, so you can't just camp on top :)

somehow, you can get up on top of the hill inside the trees. theres a hole below one of the houses, ive been trying to get to it for some time now, but i cant get to it because the small deck on the house is too low, can you (possibly) make it so the deck on the house is a little taller so you can at least prone-crawl through it?

I'm having a glitch in zombie mode where every time a zombie dies the music restarts. I asked the other guys playing and they said they didn't notice it happening. Anyway to fix this, or turn the music off? Thanks!

updated to 4.2! sorry for the wait erryone, it wasn't as easy a transition as my other maps because I had been working on adding things to this map before the switch happened, and messed up some things and got to far in the process with the newer version but didn't have a stable/playable version i could just port over quickly. I finally got around to just backtracking and getting it playable again. There may be some weird texture things going on under the water q:

Thanks for the suggestion, I feel like I've kept it solid for two reasons; one obviously it's true to the original game, and two going underwater is a balance foil to snipers camping the cliffs. Now I can definitely see people wanting to just hide underwater the entire time due to that, I've seen it a couple times playing myself. So to preserve the integrity of the original, instead of making it transparent I might make looking up from underwater a bit more hard to see. I'll have to see how that plays out. I've been working on a huge map so I will have to make time to get back to this map as soon as I can. Unfortunately I had been working on this one awhile ago in efforts to add more models from the original game but it broke some of the underwater textures, so it's been put in the backburner as I've been working on my newest map.

I promise I will be back to this though! It's my favourite pavlov map besides clock tower and I want to improve it as much as I can!

Sitting down underwater and shooting up at anyone who is above the water and can't see you has turned this map into a submarine match for me on several occasions. Water needs to be somewhat transparent.

hey all; I finally got around to fixing up underwater. The issue was that the ripped model didn't have anything under the water since link never dove underwater and the water wasn't see through. I added invisible slopes so players could go underwater a bit, but that's why you could shoot through the mountains and such. So I painstakingly created geometry for all of the island - the rocks and sand can now be seen underwater so it's a bit more immersive and less exploitable. Next on the to-do list is to do the same with the docks, it's incredibly tedious so I wanted to get the major parts out of the way and upload it to give a better experience right away, the rest will be touchups.

Lmk if you all find anymore exploits/etc. I'm thinking about added a S&D mode too which might incorporate the inside of the forest which is currently in-accessable.

Exploit through the map, if you go to the far outside of a mountain and crouch in the water, you can shoot people through the mountain, but they can't shoot you. Just a heads up, it gets annoying.
