I’ve just completed the entire Longspring map
And I can confidently say this has been the most enjoyable MudRunner map I’ve played to date.
Every stretch of trail offered a meaningful choice: do I risk the cliffs for a faster delivery, or play it safe through the flooded backroads? The map’s layout always gave me options, but never let me relax. Even the more “forgiving” roads had surprises waiting
And yes, I’ve got the tip-overs to prove it.
What stood out was how rewarding the progression felt.
No two episodes of my YouTube series looked the same, and that’s a rare thing in MudRunner.
I recorded my full journey across the map in a YouTube series
Massive respect for the creator for making this entirely with vanilla assets
If you’re thinking of playing Longspring (or Longfall), do it. Just don’t expect to take shortcuts without consequences.
10/10. Would suffer again.
Would recommend this map to those looking for more than a challenge :3
очень обрадовало что пришлось е6фшить а не просто по дороге кататся
It took me multiple sessions over multiple days to finally finish it. This is one of the ultimate tests of your Mudrunning skills. Patience and careful planning are definitely rewarded here, and even the most minor of victories require great effort.
Mere solid ground is one of the rarest features in this map
Highly recommended!
Besides that here are my absolute turn-offs:
- Why do all POIs need to be placed at the most extreme distances away from each other, as if wandering from one island to another, up and downhill all the time with only 2 forest wood stations (that are right next to each other) isn't enough already?
- At least 4 cars I discovered on the map either rolled downhill getting stuck, landing in the water, upside down or they were already in this state when discovered. No biggie if it's an A-class car (which none of them was) but if none of the D- or E-class cars can lift them up/out what are those discovered cars good for?
This map ... LOL! No doubt it's a great one but .... after over 5 hours I managed to unlock the 2nd garage while none of my 4 trucks loaded with half wood or even short wood made it to at least one saw mill during that time. Paths are not only uneven to a point where a single false movement on gear 1 or 2 could unload you truck immediately, paths are also super narrow, it's absolutely dangerous to have a trailer attached. When the 4th truck, this one with short wood, tilted I gave up on it. Good map as mentioned but it's literally unfortunately it doesn't make me want to put in even more hours.
Almost dam perfectly vertical
Someone is not so useless

Всю карту я желал автору так же мучиться по дороге на работу и страдать:))
Но не это ли признак того, что карта великолепна!!!
Great job!!!

A complete joy to play and dare i say it on par if not better than the developers maps!
Wow, what a journey! The risk/reward balance is perfect, the cliffs are so tempting yet so deadly. I made many mistakes but recovering from them is why we play this game right? I spent 30mins trying to pull the E class back up the cliff instead of going around but don't regret attempting it despite the waste of fuel and time. On my last log delivery I took a huge risk, essentially throwing myself off a cliff and hoping, I pulled it off with what I'd like to think was skill but the gods of fate where definitely with me.
Thank you for a brilliant experience.
However, the feeling of satisfaction when i made the final log delivery was amazing! Thank you author for this great map. I recommend it to everyone.
