So this just moves attachments from out of equipment self interaction menu to its own heading?

I like this a lot, however it would be very nice if we could detach attachments with this and not just swap. like detach silencer for example. now it only allows to attach stuff (and change out whatever was in that slot).

the game freezes when I die. I turn off this mod and the game works fine. (after a new update ACE)

i also have this problem of it hon being put in my storage. goes straight to the ground

and sometimes removed attachments are even got deleted altogether.

it seems, not every weapon affected with it. f.e. new rifle from Contact was fine, but RHS or NiArms guns was not.

@Kolljak If by "multi attachment" you mean being able to switch the modes of a single attachment between light and laser then no. If you mean they are separate items and can you swap between them, then yes. Hope that helps.

@Blitzkrieg762 are you sure that the backpack is empty. This uses the ace common function "addToInventory". which places the item in a ground holder if there is no inventory space.

I am having the same issue of attachments going to the floor instead of the bag. Empty backpack still sends it to the floor.

Yes, this mod makes it very quick (~1 second). Whereas the other mod, would play the animation for dismounting and then mounting the new attachment.

This mod offers quick attachment switching through ace interaction menu. Advanced Weapon Mounting adds animations to mount/dismount attachments.

This uses ace_common_fnc_addToInventory, so it should only go into a ground holder if there isnt enough room in your inventory. Maybe one attachment takes more room then its replacement?

You only need this one if you want fast switching. The other also adds switching via ACE Actions. Nevertheless, if its working for you, enjoy!

Currently the action to remove is not added. I did it more clearly in Advanced Weapon Mounting, where you have the option to attach, remove, or switch. Will try to update this to that.

Thanks for the clear answer. :steamhappy: I noticed that the mod is working but when I mount a suppressor the mod can't take it of, only by hand Is that by design?

"Advanced Weapon Mounting" completely changes attachment switching by adding animations and sounds, and if ACE3 is installed Interaction Menu actions. This mod adds ACE actions for quickly switching (1 second) attachments. I recommend that you pick the one that suits your gameplay needs better. Do you want quick switching or added realism with longer animations and sounds?

Does the "new mod" below supersedes this mod? Are the differences purely cosmetic? What would you recommend. Are both mods being developed or does either of the two takes precedence (in the future maybe)?

If they do their recon missions then they'll get their fair share. Also looting optics. The campaign isn't so great with ace though tbh.

If you have attachments that are compatible with your current weapon in your inventory, there will an action to switch to them (otherwise it does not show up).
