Boy, your not kidding "Difficulty: Hard" If the monotony of crawling along, slowly through the mountains didn't get to you, the smell of burnt metal from the dynamic brakes and brake shoes, certainly will. Well done scenario. I rode the Empire Builder with my son from Portland, Or to Boston, Ma and then the Downeaster to Portland, Me back in 2002. Love the Amtrak stuff!! Keep 'em coming!

great running section of donner pass but man its slow running 30 and 40 mph no wonder amtrac is always behind time on their runs all the power and no where to run . keep them coming. like running amtrac trains

ill tell ya, id love to see a new jersey transit add on :(. i have alot of great memories growing up sitting up in the engine driving the trains lol. Little did lots of people know a 10 year old was in the driver seat lol. My father worked for nj transit for about 20 years before passing and i road it up and down nj alll the time. Would be cool to see a mod that went up and down the east coast they even go right up to the meadowlands now for football games so that would be awesome to have in it.idk who makes these add ons so no idea who to give my idea too so just posting it :). hopefuly ill get the amtrak dlc sometime soon so i can try yours out i took amtrak to colorado once with my father so im dying to drive these :(
