if you don't like it... you could change it or if you're really dissatisfied with it - just take it down :P

Pretty easy puzzle which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But this has a bad layout. If the rooms have an order in this case using blocks from one room to get to the next and so on then it should be layed out in a more linear fashion maybe using fizzlers. I would also recommend making the steps on a map like this all involve a common element solution like the tractor beam.

This chamber is a lot of work for a trivial an uninteresting puzzle, but lots of people seem to like it so no rating either way. People are not "obsessed" with trying to "break" your map. They're helping you see shortcuts that you can fix to direct people to the intended solution. Their very generous assumption is that the solution you intend is the most interesting.

Here is something I made as a bit of revenge for you: Lab Games 1 - Broken Revenge! Too many loop holes in Lab Games 1? Mine has nothing but loop holes! Hope you (and everyone else) enjoy. (Sorry about the repeat.)

I believe you also have the option at publish time of creating "change notes" that you can use (though nobody does) to say what changed and why.

I know but I really hate to have this map uploaded 3 times on here. I wish there was a way you can replace an exisiting map with an update without completely deleting it.

Innocentive and Myr (MC) have pointed out where this is broken... if the wall opposite the stairs was not portalable, they'd have to use the stairs as well
blinkpen  [author] 8 Apr, 2013 @ 3:02am
Well you are just playing it wrong.

As for the "large chamber" issue, Nothing much I can do about that with the in game editor. The entrance and exit elevators limit you on how close you can put the external rooms.
Innocentive 7 Apr, 2013 @ 7:18pm
Fixed? Not quite: still no need for the stairs .
BTW: If I knew how to open the stairs, I might even have used them... ;D

The core puzzle is sound and engaging, and not an eyesore to look at; so plus 1 for that. However, the chamber itself is much larger than it needs to be which makes it a tad tedius to solve. I would suggest finding a way to reduce the walking to make the puzzle more focused. As I said, your core puzzle is great, it's just too large.
