This is such a fantastic mod. Finally got around to playing all six factions and I can genuinely say I like all of them for different reasons.

Update 1.3 is soon complete. It does no bring a new faction but brings many new units, new gameplay mechanics and some restyling of the overall mod. It is a very big update that took us months to make. I hope you guys will enjoy it. As for whats to come after 1.3, i was looking to the far east and deep south...

Barbarians of the west brings the new faction "Pictland" to Hyborian war. As well as new generic units and many balance fixes you can read about in the changelogs.

Pretty good so far. I would say the auto attack thing on your units can be a bit annoying.Like I get it. It's that or they just sit there getting shot to crap. But they chase the baddies all over the place and it's a pain the ass.

A soon as its possible to make custom factions, i will update this mod to be separate from the main one. Until then, its a total conversion.

BUT also, this mod. It seems to like overwrite the normal HQ and stuff. I dont think it did that at one point and was just something your builders could build. Is it possible to make it back that way or ya not going to reverse that? If not, maybe something players could do on their end? I kinda like having multiple factions(like other mods with their own kinda factions like the THEM mod with ants) to choose from when playing

I think that's a great idea. Maybe olive trees could heal or something, too.

Also, I think the giant snakes are a little weak for their cost, if you're taking balance suggestions.

Thanks for the awesome total conversion! Huge fan. Love the direction it's going. Can I ask a couple questions?

Are you thinking of eventually including an equivalent of the Fabricator? Maybe call it a Barnyard or a Stockyard and have livestock there? Or call it a Bank, and have it be available in the Portal age? I ask because I like to play larger 3v3 games that drag out a little, and it would be helpful to have some mechanism to continue the exponential economic expansion game.

Will all Portal Regions eventually have access to the Shadow Walking mechanic, and flying units? I see the argument for giving each race unique planes of attack. And, on the subject of abilities, are there plans for more spells or spellcasters in one or more tech trees?

Anyway, thanks for putting together a really nice little strategy game here. I can't wait to see what you do with this amazing foundation.

0.7.1 Fix the AI spamming Warhuts and Towers. This also lower greatly the catapult spam. Catapult nerf, now less precise and slower but do double damage on hit. Portals now have shields and shoot lightning bolts. Upgrading the portal increase its income generation

Hi, i'm having problems with you're mod, for some reason when i load the game theres an alert that says "Error loading unit:c:\Program Files(X86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\647960\1378028930\buildings\magicportal_stygia.ini Error loading unit:c:\Program Files(X86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\647960\1378028930\buildings\magicportal_stygia.ini: Key in cof was not used:canBuild_20_name in section: core" and when i got to see the mods the hyborian wars mod is written in grey insted of white an below is the same error message but in red, any help?

The factions Stygia and Nordheim are being worked on and are not released yet. Nevertheless you can play with most of their unit roster in sandbox.

Is there a way to make a structure that can garrison units and let them attack from inside? If so you could make defensive towers and walls that can house units such as archers so they can attack from a safe place.

add castles and siege weapons catapults and treachbuckets and archers foormen peaseants and archers , castle siege mod :)
