if you are actively fighting why you switch attachments there?

Oh boy, I sure do love sitting through a 10 second animation every time I swap my loadout...

The underbarrel flashlight attachment animation not only is longer than every other animation in this mod, but, the animation is actually played at a slower speed on top of that...

Not to mention the fact that this mod will force you into a crouch stance even if you actively are fighting it, and, lock you into the animation with no way to cancel it

Considering this mod hasn't been updated in years, I doubt this will be fixed ever...

@mharis001, thanks for this mod! But we need (I think all players) to be able to mount/switch things lying down, not just kneeling. Can you add a laying down switch/mount animation?

Nice idea but execution is meh - long animations are forced in sitting position and cant be canceled - unfotunately NOGO for me.

@Entryman I use it all the time without any problem. Pretty sure it interferes with a mod that handles the movement of the weapons or other animations.

Hey, I tested it but the animations are extremely bugged for me! The weapon is upside down and the character is putting on attachments in the middle of the air. Doesn't look like anything on the video

Nothing extra. You can use the ace menu or the standard inventory key. Maybe another mod is conflicting.

Using the Mk1-EMR 7.62, with suppressor, I cannot detach the suppressor. The suppressor stays on the weapon and I can accumulate a pile of suppressors in my carry rig, backpack or on the ground as I try to detach/remove the suppressor.

In 100% vanilla, this is not an issue at all.

I have an issue with all weapons. When I unequip binoculars, an animation (long one) of attaching something to side of weapon occurs, most likely one for laser or flashlight. Nothing changes, but I have to wait a few seconds for it to end. Causes issues when things are time sensitive.

Having an issue where the animations do not play when you move attachment to weapon in the vanilla inventory if you have INFIstar enabled on your server. Although when you have ACE and INFIstar enable you can still attach using ACE Interaction Menu but still the vanilla menu bypasses the animations. I think INFIstar is blocking it but i dont know how i would fix, any ideas from anyone?

Might be a good idea to change the title to "Advanced Attachment Mounting", or something that emphasizes that this deals with installing and removing attachments, and not the mechanics of mounting your weapon-- i.e., deploying your bipod or mounting your rifle on a wall.

it would be nice to dont force the animation to be prone when you use it, because when you are an sniper, you dont want to change your position to do this. So it means, we need a new animations for whenever you are lying on the ground.

The attachments duplicate when you mount them. One stays in the inventory while its attached at the same time. ( RHS )

My dude just randomly sits down to casually pick out the dirt from his heatsink or rail, is there any way to -ACTUALLY- cancel the animation? And why is it doing this at random moments when picking shit up or accessing the inventory ?

Was quite bummed that this wouldn't work for me either on my Exile server with InfiStar running. Did not really have time yet to try figuring out why though.

LOVE the mod though.. really should just be a part of the game.

Hi, I've been using this mod in our milsim server since the release. Thank you we love it :) So far I have found 2 mods that get conflicted by the animations and I was wondering if there is a possible fix for it:

They both move the weapon to a different position and then spawns them back to the hands. The animation is always triggered.
Is there any possible fix to this? What do you suggest?

Seems like I found the problem why it isnt working for me as I stated back in dec 2018. infiSTAR_Exile seems to be blocking it. it works fine on my server when I run it without infiSTAR enabled. I would assume I need an ID for the "allowedIDDs" in config. do you have it?
