those models are different then the ones used in death toll

the ones in death toll are smaller, matching the same size as the CSS/HL2 EP2 train models, that's why I swapped their models many many years ago

I've thought about redoing the trains and include larger variants for the models used in blood harvest but im not into modding l4d that much anymore

I believe this mod breaks a lot when playing online, offline might be stable but online is where it breaks the most

I don't understand why people call this mod "unstable" or "broken" I've had little to no issues tbh and I have a ton of mods/plugins in my game, it really improves the atmosphere to a more gritty and or detailed feel, absolutely love this mod!!

I removed some models i didn't want, and after i got to the wrecked car crash in the Hard Rain campaign, the game just crashed.

this mod is very unstable, caused a lot of my friend's game to crash due to the way I swapped the models in this mod years ago due to the lack of modeling knowledge I had at the time

I would be very surprised if anyone could even play l4d2 with this installed without problems

I'm assuming it used to be since in the screenshots some of the textures are changed (Specifically in the No Mercy ones) and I think those were from this mod, it even used to be 300 MB at some point from what I remember.

If those textures aren't from this mod, I hope someone gets around to find them since I dig those textures more than the in-game ones lol

Did you take out the textures? I remember this mod used to change the textures of some of the campaigns too, but now it only changes the models instead :/

Well personally I'm fine with L4D1 props, just the addition of the door means it conflicts with saferoom door mods (which there aren't a ton of, but still)

I added l4d1 stuff into this due to it being required for Fairfield Terror.


I think that's no longer a requirement for that campaign now so I think i'll have to re-organize this.

Deleting the physics files will make the game use the base game's physics files
and thus online won't glitch out

As for the studdering, I figured out why it does that but idk how to fix it.

If you're playing online and not hosting the server, the replaced props become a bit unstable if you are stepping on them.

this shouldn't be an issue if playing singleplayer or hosting the server

That doesn't make sense at all.

I downloaded this addon again and ran the game, I couldn't find any missing texture issues.

I looked inside the vpk itself. Nothing touches the props_foliage models.

Are you sure it came from this mod?

Wasn't sure if that was the issue on my end too.

I can confirm the first person camera starts spazzing out when you stand on the No Mercy finale pipes for example.

I can port those trees to the game but it would be a seperate addon

as for the missing textures, idk why that's happening, I'm pretty positive it should have the textures in there.

I... really liked those trees though. The beginning of Death Toll looks extra crispy with those. Is there no way to fix those textures and release it as a separate addon maybe?
