appreciated, your works are functional and good looking. i slapped a teleporter motion sensor and na 'and' signal and its an excelent teleport cottage for getting between planets if yoru crew leaves in the CV without you.

i just put this down and it is no longer air tight, the two quarter blocks of concrete on the roof covering the cargo boxes leak, for now i just slap automagic doors on them.

Pretty nice base. My biggest issue is the fact that the Container Controller and the Ammo Controller would make WAY more sense if their positions were swapped. The Ammo controller is between the constructors (where the container controller should be), and the container controller is completely across the room.

fyi you can remove the use of cobalt by removing the new ammo controller and concrete block next to it and place a regular base ammo box

spawned it (as my first factory base)
left half a day when i came back the solar section is missing
i can only guess the turret between the sections gave it loads

patched new solar panels somewhere to keep things fresh at least but they dont seem to be enough in their new bad positions

CPU keeps telling me its only half of what it needs
i have no clue about it just telling my experience so far

Also saw the image update, but while it shows in small window, the original "Alpha 9" image is still in the slideshow (so the first image a player might see). Don't know if you want to pull it out so people don't get confused.

Finally finished watching your stream where you updated the legacy items. Learned lots and now understand why some things did not make the update cute. Now the big question is when are the new bases coming <LOL> Living out of the HV is fine until you need a large constructor (and the Hanger did not make the cut for updates).

I love this base, just came back after the A12 update after being out of game for a year or so.. was very disapointed to see this does not port over to it. What do I need to do to make it CPU friendly?

Built in an A11 game and it served me well for quite some time. The dropoff boxes are a neat idea, but I usually used logistics instead. Ended up expanding the HV pad and adding more solars (while trying to keep the same styling) in time. Also removed the grow plots (in favor of a greenhouse building as a separate base) and put in a bed/couch/shower/toilet in their place.

I'd love an updated version using controllers and a slightly bigger HV pad, but even as it is now it's a great starter base.

I still love this design, even in v11.5. I just change out some of the wall blocks for container extensions, keep some of the cargo bins for specific needs (weapons, O2, fuel, HV & SV ammo, etc). I can use this for the entire time. I just looked at the level after my changes as I grow in the game, and it is now level 20, Tier 3.

I put towers around it for additional drone response and call it good. I also expanded the pad outside to place multiple vessels and my deconstructor. 18 plot farm inside as well. Just a nice well rounded and uncluttered design.

Did that but it seemed that didn't work. After some time poking around I saw I wasn't generating enough power with the solar panels to cover my usage. If I expand them I think it will show.

Nice design I like it. Now to find a nice SV to go to the moon and a tank to take out POIs

There’s a standing issue with the battery needing to be removed and replaced in order for pre alpha 8 builds solar to work. I’ve tried to fix it but it remains

Excellent starter! Truly a one-stop-shop in the early game. Then is just expands! Out and down were my choices, but you can do ANYTHING with this base as a core.
