I've marked all my mods as discontinued as I haven't played the game since early 2018 and stopped updating the mods since late 2018. Any updates could potentially break the mods.

yes you can upload it temporarily, and, you will keep map markers after you remove it from ur mod list. at least thats what happened when i tried it

great mod very handy i was level 39 and after using this mod i went up to level 51 not as high as i hoped but every level helps

They fixed the power leveling via map markers quite some time back. You'll still get quite a bit of XP, but it won't be nearly as bad as it was.

does this mod have side effects anymore is it fixed?

I'm afraid too :) When I first started, I loaded to many mods. I parred it back a lot. This is my 6th restart. It was working with no problems until the latest patch. That patch was a rough one. And I'm not decrying your work at all. It really, REALLY, helped a n00b like me.

You could maybe enabled it temporarily. Just long enough to get all the markers and then switch it back off?

It's too bad for me then. This is a great mod, save me a ton of time.

I've just tried it and didn't have a stat problem. I went all the way up to encumbrance 50 (the max) without it costing me 999. I only used this mod. No other mods.

I leveled normally to level 10, then saved and quit, added the mod, went back in and instantly leveled to level 60. But other than this known quirk, nothing weird happened.

I'm going to try it for myself and get back to you in a bit.

I have no idea why it does it, but it does set my attributes to 999. I started a new SP game, went to level 10, added this in, and all my attribute costs went to 999. I started yet another game and I'm fine. Mods being run are the encumbrance, and the Exiles placement mods.

I've had a look and there are no changes to the source files that this mod changes. When attributes cost 999 points it means that the DT_AttributeSystem data table does not have a cost record for the stat value you're trying to increase.
This mod doesn't touch that table. Are you using any mods that change attribute cost or parhaps something that increases max level? Those are more likely the culprits.
Please let me know if you don't come right.

It keeps me from being able to adjust my attributes. With this mod loaded, all attributes have a cost of 999

You get the xp as soon as you get the map markers. This mod lets you get them all the first time you log in. FunCom have adjusted the experience you get from finding map markers, so you won't gain enough experience to get to 60 anymore. I can't remember the exact level you get to, but it's somewhere around level 30. Oh, that's strange, I could have sworn I changed the description.

Just to clarify...installing this mod does it give you level 60 upon entering the game or all it does is show all the possible discoveries so you can run to them and get xp ?

If Conan Exiles thinks the mod is corrupt then you definitely can't use it.
Did you try unsubscribing and re-subscribing? This normally solves the issue if the problem is that the actual mod files were corrupted while downloading.
Are you only playing single-player? The other reason it could say that is because your Conan files may be out of date. Try verifying your game data.
If you are playing on a server, it may be that the server is not updated to the latest version. Unless you own the server, there is really nothing to do but wait for them to catch up.

before the update it was working fine but now it's says corrupted so i don't know what to do.
I also bought the new dlc so i could gain more knowledge.
No all the map marker where there but i don't active it because it crashes my game when it says corrupted.
So do i active or not in the mod menu?

Could you elaborate how it isn't working? Are there specific map markers missing? Are they all missing?

Even though there wasn't any documented changes, I've rebuilt the mod and uploaded it.

Corrupted mods are normally caused during a download. When did you subscribe? Was it recent or was this mod working and now it doesn't?

Either way, the standard fix is to unsubscribe, let steam clean up the directory and then re-subscribe.

HOWEVER, I've just gone to check and an update was just released, so it's highly possible this is the cause. I'll rebuild the mod a.s.a.p., even if nothing regarding this mod was changed.

having problem with this mod saying it's corrupted when i go onto the mods section in the main menu. I s there any way it can be fix or how do i get it onto the active section?

I just went to "Non" (point 0) to check what is there :p And it's the character creation and first cinematic location :) We can't teleport directly on it using the map in admin mode, but we can teleport behind the green barrier and walk to the location :D

There are no new map markers to reveal at this point. FunCom have however reworked the experience gained for finding map markers, so no more power leveling via map markers.

Ok, I'm a bit sad, maybe you, Thoringil can help. I found every Spot on the map but there was something still missing, so I downloaded this mod to double check in single player and the "NON" location in the south west is the last one missing. Sooo... buggy? or did I missed something?
Btw the mod is great if you replay the game like I did^^

Unfortunately I used the map from in-game and the game itself only shows so much of the map. I'll see what I can do though.
As for the unreleased locations, I'll update the mod as soon as I can.

Please could you upload a full map with all map markers (including not yet released locations) ? :)

Would love to use this mod if it had:

-Grayed out markers until you explored them

That would make it an excellent addition to any server - it's a pain in the ass referencing a map every 2 sec while exploring.

I have noticed the change in level gained through map markers. In my latest tests a new character only got level 36 on start. The numbers don't add up, but I'll continue to investigate what's going on.

Official servers won't have this mod installed, so this won't work there.

does it work on official pvp servers?

Some of the hidden areas in the game are put kind off outside the map (mostly in north-east, and some of them in south-west). Will not say more due spoilers :)

@Batou It's the first entry in the datatable. I'm unsure what it's purpose is and I guess I could exclude it, but it does no harm.
@Miyu Every area is included even the area not yet released.
