@The Thousand Yard Stare peds do not use it as there is no path for them. If you have a connection road between normal streets and the airport road, you may disallow all types on this connection between both road types with e.g. TM:PE, so even maintenance cars won't leave the area. But please note that in this any service do need a depot within the airport in this case.

@Yoshe this does not work with this street type. As peds do not move along this steets as well (which is good btw.) Use e.g. blank roads without marking for the area with buildings and bus stops.

I'm unable to place bus stops on these roads for some reason, is it possible to be fixed? I use Ryde Airports vehicles set and they use bus lines to get them to spawn.

@MobiusOne thx for reply. the taxiway crossing service road witch black and white line without center line is only perfect show when i zoom out the camera. other 5 road is huge blurred. i have no idea now.

@YJ_Brian Interesting, yeah so i just loaded up my game, dropped some of these roads down. zoomed way out and i had no change in quality, also i checked my own ULOD settings and i have networks set to default (1000M) so that's not effecting it on my end.

@YJ_Brian are you using any LOD mods? my uneducated guess is that you were using LOD mods in 2019 that forced further draw distance for LOD's? purely a guess, im also using LOD mods fwiw.

Why the road line suddenly blurred in the distance? any idea for this? coz it is no problem when i was playing in 2019.

@jasonmalloy9 Not off the top of my head. they're just road assets so the game shouldn't treat them any differently than before. my guess would be some mod or other road pack is overwriting them maybe.

@jasonmalloy9 Sorry to hear you're having issues! i just booted the game and they are all still showing for me under the small roads tab (steam sub'd not just my local ones). Maybe a duplicate asset issue or something.

@Dying Oh, there's definitely pedestrian lanes - you can load these roads up in the asset editor and see them.

Just removing the crossings doesn't help much if they can short cut from one terminal to another down a straight.

@Tenzian That is quite interresting, because I thought there is no ped lane, because I never saw peds using this streets.Maybe you can change peds pathfinding with use of no street crossings for peds at the next crossings (TMPE), if you have any crossings nearby.

First of all, thanks. I love these - they're an invaluable part of any modular airport. Would it be possible to have a second set of these that have the pedestrian lanes removed? Those pesky tourists are running up and down all over secure areas of the tarmac causing havoc :steamfacepalm:

Dublicate asset names are no problem, as long as they are in different steam id folders (basically given by subscribe and not moving the files) and LSM is in use.
This information in LSM can be ignored and even cut-out, if needed.

@CiaranAnything they're duplicate asset warnings. they have no effect on anything outside of being able to see them in the loading screen mod. it has to do with how I duplicated them and swapped the textures to make them. If it's ever fixed it won't be soon.

I am getting lots of errors with this asset. I think there is a compatibility issue with something that is not listed.

If you have loading screen mod it just shows the error of dublicate assets (as many roads have it) on loading screen, but also can be turned of completely there.
Regarding zones: Yes, I also would like to have some zoneable, but I also use "parking lot street" for the areas, where I need zones.

Ah Ok,I thought maybe you knew of some ICAO specifications like there are for runway and taxiway markings.
I would note, though, not having a center striped version of the zipper edge road seems a rather large omission, though I can just plop down a line network over top. (and, interestingly, enough, I noticed Miami has service roads with a zippered line at the end of the ramp area but a solid line on the inside edge, but I haven't noticed that style elsewhere as of yet. Everyone else seems to keep the same lines on both sides or just use the ramp edge marker itself as the outside line)

@GhostBirdofPrey So i chose these specific markings from google earthing Chicago O'hare and maybe a few others (i can't remember). But i think something i noticed while doing so was that every airport did it a little differently. But yeah I would just google earth O'hare or some other airport for a guide on which roads to use where. :)

Hey, are there any rules or guidelines on when to use certain markings?
The zippered edges seem to be used when the roadway enters a movement area (and a few ramp areas planes cross a lot that isn't directly adjacent to the plane stands), but I haven't noticed any pattern beyond that at the airports I've seen.

@SA547PH it depends on the road right? i think the normal streets that have curbs are lowered into the ground which causes what you're talking about. but if you connect to a highway or some of the other mod roads it's fine i think? ( i cant remember its been a while since i've played)

Just right for me, but the only issue is the transition between this pack and normal roads, so creating a visible gap and had to be covered with ploppable pavement.

My small roads tab is so cluttered that I finally made local copies with UI Category changed to PublicTransportPlane so they have their own Plane tab in the Roads menu. Same for shoulders and extensions. Thought I'd mention it in case you want to try it for the official versions.

I dumped NE2 specifically for this road pack. There is no other efficient way to get the same functional look on the workshop. Thank you for these! :steamhappy:

@Dannycak Hey thanks for the feedback! yeah this error is the bane of my CS Modding existence. I didn't do anything crazy when i made these, just used the normal road importer with my own custom assets so they shouldn't be duplicated at all (I've even gone back and very much confirmed this). I also don't get the error myself so its very difficult to troubleshoot.

Here is feedback for this cool mods and assets

recently i am testing everything i get from steam workshop.
so i was facing dublicate error for a long time and didnt figure it out which was causing this.

Today i ve found that

Airport Service Road 1( Airport Service Road 1.crp)
Airport Service Road 2( Airport Service Road 2.crp)
Airport Service Road 5( Airport Service Road 5.crp)
Airport Service Road 6( Airport Service Road 6.crp)


are causing this error pop up at starting of any saved or new game.
Others tested and working well.
I have read some comments from other users about assets are still working even tho duplicate asset warning.
Just dont know how to fix so i disabled them.

Works perfectly for me. Thank you. For the airport I'm recreating a one-way version of road typ 1 and a white middle line for typ 4 would be appreciated.

Just in case anyone is worried about this, the duplicate asset warning should be completely harmless and does not affect the functionality of the asset.

@MobiusOne, I can place both NE2 and this mods roads on a map... But the error message constantly pops up. If this can be fixed it would be amazing. Thanks again.
