Fortunately my modding abilities have improved quite a bit, just reading the description I can see why I got crashes and had to abandon this gem

Running smoothly for most of the campaign and battles as west Rome. I had a couple crashes at end turn. Most of my crashes happen after a battle when I choose sell captives, take on warriors, or kill captives - and I have to replay the battle over and over til it does not crash. I LOVE THE MOD, it makes playing as Rome so much more viable.

I can't get past the first turn, the game crashes

For whatever reason, I have much better luck with this mod not crashing if I add the Grand Campaign 2.0 and Radious War Mod. It kind of mixes all of them into one. I also am able to use the Ammo Refill and Horde Encampment. I have the Beta mod on top.

CTD after first battle as romans against Quadi

For some reason, I can't download fall1.31. It seem seems that "download has failed" for number of times in the same spot. Is this problem on my part or anybody else experienced it?

I like this mode. but some viking shield is gone. Vikings have nothing in their hands. and also some pictish berserkers model is gone Many of the warriors have no bodies and just only hair and weapons float in the air.. I'm sure I installed it as you said. I don't know what's wrong with this. Help me.

Played nearly 10 turns as the Avars in 'Age of Charlemagne' with just 1.31 selected as a mod (pack). So it seems to work flawlessly on that campaign.

I got one turn in as the White Huns. But CTD on turn end. I auto-resolved one battle successfully, and for that 1 turn everything was working perfectly (diplomacy, family management etc).

I'm sorry to be going on at such length - but this mod (set of mods?) has such awesome potential, I'm hoping the ongoing show of interest could be helpful.

Actually both 1.3 and 1.31 are about 12 GB. It looks like both are required. I've tried to cut and paste from that the description of that collection, compiled by UCAV, who seems to know more, still be connected to this mod's creator. but it won't let me paste it all. Sorry. I will update if I have more luck.

And just as a note - there is 1.3 pack file which is about 4GB and then 1.31 pack file about 12 GB. I think both of these are requited. And that collection is by UCAV who seems to know more, still be connected to this mod's creator.

This mod looked promising but it became absolutely unplayable by turn 35 due to frequent CTDs.

Is there any goddamn way to remove war wearines? I don't get the mod creators decision, it just doesn't work with the dumb war declaring AI, factions just refuse to make peace(but they also do nothing on the war front), I should not get punished for that.

Is it normal that the fix file size is 12 gb ? This mod looks amazing by the way.

I was really decided to make my own mod until I found this. This mod pretty much nails it :)

Great mod! One thing I really like is Honorius being 11 years old at this time, like it should be. Is it possible to get a seperate mod solely focused on fixing the faction leaders ages? That would be really nice!

Ya I will address a lot of issues in the next update to this, its going to be significantly more historically accurate so dont get too attached to the current skins and campaign set up.

Some textures like shield and axes have gone missing maybe since updates.

Hey man, would you consider adding the "same-blood" mechanic and confederation option? This is one of my favorite mechanics in a Frankish playthrough and I feel without it this mod is taking away from the political intrigue between the various germanic factions.

p.s. just my opinion, but the 100% red coloring for every city name, etc., makes it really hard to distinguish between factions during campaign.

Ya I've been working on that, I'm also working on a newer lite version that you just download directly through steam and doesnt have any bugs. Hopefully I can make some good progress on that this weekend

can you release the reskin as a separate mod?

I'm actually going to release a lite version of this that wont have the ctd issue. It will let you guys play with the historically accurate roster and campaign while helping me figure out which part of the db tables is causing the ctd. Hopefully I can get that out in the next couple weeks.

Ya I'm right now I'm pretty much spending every day trying to understand what causes that since it pretty much effects all of my overhaul mods. I'm working on releasing my Age of Rollo gc overhaul first since its my most popular wip and then I want to get back to this and fix it finally. Appreciate all your patience, I'm a one man modding team so just be patient, follow me on the workshop and you can look forward to a lot of cool total overhauls coming out in the near future.
