I'm playing around in the files, looks like it's just a lot of tedium to fix most of the errors. If folks want, when/if I get the mod on my end working, I can upload it separately of this mod, with credits given to original author of course.

Well, I just spent 6 hours trying to fix this for 1.0. I'm just going to call it abandoned. Coming into modding Rimworld cold and trying to peel this apart into the new format is more than I can handle.

Thanks for a great race, I really enjoyed them.

hey Undead! I love this mod and I have been using it for a while along with your cool Palisade mod which I couldn't play rimworld without, I love these two mods to bits! I was just curious if the Palisade mod would be a thing in the workshop, I'd really like to subscribe to it in here so that it's easier to find and for other players to enjoy :)

I can't seem to use this mod with Simple Sidearms. When ever I equip a Bone-GreatBow and tell a warrior to have a Lizardman Sword as his/her sidearm, they unequip the Great Bow, equip the sword, then immediatly drop it when entering Melee. I've tested it with other weapons, and the Lizardmen seem to use Vanilla Melee as sidearms.

This is a really nice mod. Lizards are perfectly suited for the hotter biomes and can make trying to live in the desert an enjoyable challenge instead of hellish. They do have a number of perks over humans, but the main balancing factor is they have a -20 to Life Expectancy so it doesn't feel broken at all.

I created a patch that allows your mod to work correctly when using the Tech Advancing mod as well. Your Lizardman research types would cause problems in advancing the tech levels using Tech Advancing, but my patch fixes that. I'll leave the link here.

The helmet bug might also be caused because it uses a skill different than crafting

I've noticed a bugs with the mod. The Lizardman plate helmet doesn't create an unfinished item and it also doesn't abide by the "No random construction quality" mod. The Artifact doesn't spawn when launching the game with Prepare Carefully. The plate armour also seems to be really weak with CE installed, only surviving 1-2 raids of a few mobs.

It seems anytime I try to add any lizardman art tech to research It freezes my ability to research. I can't even right click the reasearch table. It made it to about 20%.

Any chance the meat type could be changed so it does not count towards cannibalism? I mean my pawns get raided by them often and by god - they do love some crispy iguana-on-a-stick after a long day's work! (not crazy about the canibalism debuff though hehe)

It's not OP at all except they're comfortable at very high temperatures, that's about all. They start with an artifact structure that is basically a free geothermal power plant but if you'd rather not have that you can just deconstruct it.
