This mod is great! Adds more profit to hunting if you wish to sell the potions or of you use them the effects make sense because the potion effects mimic the traits of the animal you loot them from

@Snowgim

Yea, that would be more work than needed. Bit of a pain that they override eachother. I doubt load order would change matters at all.

Thank's for pointing out the Mudcrab Legs issue. I've made a new Hearthfire Addon that should fix the problem, link in the description above.
Not sure about running our mods together. Since they both modify deathitems, one is always going to override the other. Only way I can think is to have a 3rd mod that overrides deathitems again, but includes the changes from both mods. But that would need to be dependent on both mods being loaded, and I'm not sure how you'd make a mod dependent on another mod.

I've had the mod for a while and i love it. It adds some depth to the game. Plus I don't know how many times my ass has been saved thanks to skeever blood. I have noticed some compatability issues though with two mods. In Hearthfire, it overrides the slot for Mudcrab Legs. Also with my own cooking and alchemy mod, it overrides the ability to harvest meat (I have it in the DeathItems leveled list. That may be were the problem is.) I will keep your mod on my "dont load" list for the moment until the hearthfire issue is fixed. If you can think of a way to make it so that both of our mods coexist (lol), then let me know. I would love to be able to kill a wolf, get the meat, the blood and the skin. Waste not, want not, Eh?

is this mod on the nexus ??????? i cant find it
Injushe  [author] 18 Aug, 2013 @ 3:59am
No, sorry. The phials of blood are basically just potions so they won't affect vampirism at all. And I'm not sure how I'd even get that working. If you look around there's probably a mod that lets you feed from animals as well as humans.
Crawl 17 Aug, 2013 @ 5:59am
@snowgim i have contracted vampirism in the vanilla game (it is possible, look up sanguinare vampiris) and i need to drink blood at least once every 4 skyrim days to keep people from attacking me. could a blood phial be a substitute for feading off a human?

This is going to be a cruel joke in a few years.
Injushe  [author] 9 Jul, 2013 @ 3:23am
Fixed, I think.
I was using a modified werewolf detect life, which was a bit incosistent and seemed to only randomly detect things. So I've switched back to the Alteration style detect life so hopefully it should work now.
Fyst 7 Jul, 2013 @ 8:58pm
Love the mod, but I have one problem: the elk/deer blood isn't working for me. Specifically, I get the detect life aura on all npc's who are "friendly" to me, but nothing whatsoever on neutral or hostile npc's, rendering the potion pretty much useless for that purpose.

It's not enough of a problem for me to uninstall or anything. Let's not get crazy. Just wondered if anyone else had seen this.

One of the best mods that I've used. This is one I actually use all the time.

All three Blood MODs subscribed, "fav" and "tumb up"! Keep doing your amazing work! Tks and Greetings!
[PGCA]nodijo 12 Apr, 2013 @ 8:40am
Interesting concept and you're right, the effects do reflect the animals respective abilities - as far as 'rubbing it on' well, hunters (IRL) 'rub' or spray doe urine, buck urine etc or the 'scent' on them so this does not strike me as weird necessarily, besides as archers/bow hunters we have to be able to get within shooting/striking distance and not be detected...I just 'pretend' thats what my hunter is doing.
Derek Hunter 10 Apr, 2013 @ 4:17pm
Funny! Llike the ancient warriors, hahaha... I think I'll "pass" this "process" (sounds a little dirty for me), but they did it (ugh)! Cheers!
Jwblaze 10 Apr, 2013 @ 1:52pm
HHAHAAHHAHAHAAH RUBBING IT.......................................................that..........................................is......................................................................................................................AWESOME SASUE!!!!!!! i will get some blood and rub it on me!
Derek Hunter 10 Apr, 2013 @ 12:34pm
snowgin, on the other hand (and respectfully not opposing anyone's opinion), I ("mine") think your game life is nice, like any other.... Wanna be a good better-paid hunter? It's a personal choice, among the others in this amazing game! It's an interesting option. Not subscribing for now, I'm just signing one more thanks for the Skyrim's moders. Greets! (sry my English).
TheLittleDeadGuy 10 Apr, 2013 @ 9:45am
Dude................Your game life suckes
Injushe  [author] 10 Apr, 2013 @ 9:44am
In real life or the game? Nah, in Skyrim I'm a werewolf, but more than that, I'm a lowly archer who wants more payoff for taking pot-shots at wildlife. And there's only a few things you can get from animals that aren't already taken by food or ingredients, and blood seemed the least unappetising. If it helps, just imagine your character rubbing it on their body rather than drinking it. :) I'm sure the effect is the same.
TheLittleDeadGuy 10 Apr, 2013 @ 8:53am
Im wondering if your a vampire
