is this a separate mod? or just like it says its an addon. I mean, if i want some potions from those 2 mobs do i need the main mod? or can i just subscribe to this one only

Yes, this adds blood items for the new animals in the Dragonborn DLC, you still need the original Blood of the Wild mod for the rest of the animals.
