Also playing Marsgate, checked in option, but even meteors go through. WTF?

I've solved it by checking the option to attack enemies, which was unchecked. The mod was active prior to starting the Marsgate save, so I'm not sure what happened.

Load up Mod Config and make sure the Marsgate option is checked.
Also, this mod would have had to be installed prior to starting a game with Marsgate as the mystery. Otherwise shut the mod down in Mod Config until you are done with Marsgate, then turn it on after.

Marsgate seems borked with this mod. Neither the Patriot turret nor the researchable defense turret will attack the rovers anymore. Neither do your own two rovers, you're literally defenseless.

I'll check on both the salvage and the turret strength.
For the lag, I have a setting in the mod config section to change the targeting from realtime to delayed. You choose the delay.

I also cannot salvage destroyed patriot rovers. In my case they were destroyed in combat during MarsGate. The salvage timer runs down and then nothing happens.

Also, enemy rovers one-shot the patriot missile turrets and the missile turrets have ridiculous rates of fire, often lagging the game during combat.

Whenever I lose one for whatever reason I just build another missile launcher. A replacement drone spawns like the originals did

Question for anyone still following this - I had to delete a missile rover due to an event. SkiRich commented below that there's a way to replace them and to 'check the infopanel', but I can't find anything about replacing one. Anyone got any suggestions?

Ops. i find bug on steam. steam deleted old version of mod, but use old dir of mod for game. I use game mod editor for this! Sorry friend!

@Drak, I have no idea what you mean. I just launched a new game and its fine. You should check your mods if you are having issues. Post a log someplace and send a link. Maybe there is a clue whats going on with your game in there.

Is there a way to add the experimental rover to every nation as an unlockable tech / rover shipment from earth? Kinda like having a mobile defense platform, but just want to tack it on when I start a new mission.

They are not repairable. They must be demo'ed. But you can replace it if you have the proper funds. See the button in the infopanel.

Great mod! I love watching the missile battery fire on dust devils. Warms my heart.

The missile rovers don't appear to be valid repair targets. One my missile rovers got lost in my game and I can't repair it to complete the event.

You can get 5 with this mod, and 5 more if you use the NASA Miissioin Sponsor which has a slightly different version built in. How many more do you want? Its just number I chose not to be so cheaty.

@maiden - If you have mod config reborn loaded then you can alter the maximum rovers you can own from two to five. So lets say you have a max of five set, you build a missile system and five rovers deploy. If one gets damaged and typically must be salvaged, a new button shows up next to the salvage button to allow you to scrap the old one and purchase a new one that will deploy in its place. Just note the rovers are normally indestructible so you wont see this button much, except when fighting another rover, which can and will destroy the NASA/Ratheon rovers.

Does this mean, if I accidentally destroy one of the rovers I can now build/buy a new one, Can I build/buy new ones even if I have the original two? What happens if I destroy the first build Missile Dense System, and build a second one, would it give me extra rovers too, or would I lose the original rovers, and never get them back? This is my favorite mode, and more than once it has put me in the poorhouse cuzz I built too many, for upcoming meteor storms, or a heavy area of dust devils are inhibiting my progress to build more domes and such.

lol humph! My bad, I vaguely remember seeing the popup about Marsgate detected. And I had read above where the mod would be set to default or something like that. Guess I ddn't look into what exactly that meant. Was still lmao when I seen that single non-Patriot in B3ish sector destroying every rover on the map. Wish i had been recording at the time!

Brainrot83. Glad it worked out. You must have forgotten that message very early in in the game that said , marsgate mystery detected. All patriot turrets and rovers will be set to not target enemies so that you can finish the mystery as planned. You could have, if you wished, overrode that by setting the modconfig options back to allow targeting eso rovers. Btw if I didn’t do this there would be now way to finish the mystery since the patriot turrets and rovers would just anihilate all enemies. It is very fun to watch though.

Had quite the chuckle last night. Was playing as Japan with Marsgate and max meteors and twisters so I had at least one of these turrets near each dome by the time Eso started attacking. Unfortunately, the enemy rovers had destroyed all of my RC rovers and cracked a few domes before I realized that my turrets/combat rovers were not engaging nor were being engaged. I had already researched to OG turret for the mystery so I built one and only one up on a cliff near my main base, and that single marsgate launcher proceeds to target and destroy every single enemy rover on the map. So I’m zoomed out, watching volley after volley of missiles zipping out to every corner of the map and laughing my a** off the whole time. Clearly, something was broken but it was damned amusing to watch! Get wrecked!
