I'm looking for a functional stair system for dedicated bus lanes. Anyone know such mod or asset for that?

Fantastic job with the update! Really adds life to the quayside.

@Strategy Nerd: Thanks for the heads up! I have indeed not updated the descriptions! :P

It looks like you might have missed the description - it still seems to say cims can't walk on the quay

@sevasson: you had to take a look at Amsterdam. Hundreds of kilometres of canals without any fence.

Was coming here to ask about a version with fencing along the top so my cims don't fall to their deaths but see it's already been requested. Just another vote for this and well wishing to your fingats.

@Emperor_Peter: Fenced versions are coming. As for how low the bottom tier is I can't remember, something like 4 m I think.

This may have already been asked, but do you plan to do a version of this with that nice fence along the top?

Also, I just found your beauties, but this is exactly what I've been looking for, but I have a question before I get home and add it to my current build(your help will save me many hours of frustrated tweaking) - how high must the land be above the water level for the lower platform to not end up under water?
Avanya  [author] 17 May, 2018 @ 1:48am
@sevasson: That's a good idea, but I have no plans to make anything like that for now.

@Avanya I tried something in my city, but I think it does not look that great : https://imgur.com/0BPPOMz

It would be awesome if you managed to make this kind of wall (as prop) with the same texture you used for your beautiful quay :)

@olepederhagen: I've never seen that happen when they're placed along the shoreline. It does happen when placed on land with Quay Anarchy. Adjusting the terrain to where you want it and then redrawing them usually fixes it. I also find that wiggling the nodes and segments with MoveIt can get them to flip sides.

One thing I don't get with quays, is that when placing them they seem to be turned the wrong way half the time. That is, the front is facing the street I'm placing them along, and the that way I can't the remove the terrain along the quay towards the water. Any clues?
Avanya  [author] 13 May, 2018 @ 11:13am
@sevasson: Already in the works, but again haven't had the time to finish them, since I have a bunch of quays to do it for. ;)
sevasson 13 May, 2018 @ 10:35am
@Avanya or maybe integrate it directly at the edge of the quay, if that's possible :)

Because I think that a quay without at least a fence is kind of unrealistic
Avanya  [author] 13 May, 2018 @ 7:22am
@sevasson: As soon as I get to it. It's in the plans, just gotta find the time :)
sevasson 13 May, 2018 @ 6:38am
@Avanya Could you upload the fence you used for the stairs as a prop ?
Avanya  [author] 12 May, 2018 @ 12:17pm
@Trumpster81: Thank you! I very much doubt that will happen and it wouldn't make much of a difference anyways. If they should decide to make quays work so pedestrians can walk on them, I'd be able to update this. The filesize would be about the same, so there's no gain there either by having it added to the game. :)

Been using this on all my cities lately, and it is REALLY NICE. I hope this gets added in officially someday, pretty simple for C.O. to do it....
Rooster 11 May, 2018 @ 9:04am
Fantastic.Tried and tested.
Bergmeister_1981 9 May, 2018 @ 10:13pm
Why isn't this IN the game, as in why haven't the dev's used it as an official feature? this would make cities look so much better... naked shorelines are UGLY, and thankfully the quays class them up a bit, this mod takes them to a new level.
Avanya  [author] 9 May, 2018 @ 12:33pm
@aubergine18: You'd likely still need to do some adjusting. Shoreline buildings generally sit a little high on quays and there's some wiggle room. They basically just detect the terrain under the quay and ignore the quay itself.
leftbehind 9 May, 2018 @ 12:30pm
Would be cool if the stairs were shoreline buildings so they could be manually 'snapped' on the quays.

lllllove it <3
