The page says I have to subscribe to download. I did, but still don't see any way to download it. This sounds awesome.

@MissDaily: It's not available right from the start, you have to unlock it via researching "Automated Storage" which comes between early and mid game, i forgot which tech tree it was but i think it was in the robotics tree.

nice necessary mod, without it, sotorages lose any interest and are frustrating
but i'd like to slow down it a bit, and I can't find the mod options :(

It works! thank you very much! I'm play this for years and very frustrated at how slow it is, to the point of useless during time-rush emergency. Your mod make it work as it should be. It's kind of stupid that dev make Advance automated which we've to spend resource to maintain, be slower than a normal storage.

maybe a stupid question i just started playing this game again butfor some odd reason i can not find mechanized storage depots in the build menu?

I figured out the problem, I feel dumb. "Mod options" appears twice on the menu, I didn't notice the first one is for the mod config reborn

It is not broken. Works fine with or without mod config reborn. You may be looking at the other mod options from the game itself.

Ok. BTW if you have mod config reborn loaded, the settings are just like that. Original, 2x, or full.
The variable, if you are coding something, is the delay factor in terms of micro seconds. Zero would be the fastest but dont go below 5 since it introduces cpu lockout for that process and the game stutters.

Fair 'nuff. Obviously I wanna tweak the speed a bit and set it to maybe 2x the standard speed, or even just 1.5x.

Well the way it works you would need to understand the coding. So let me just say it this way.
If Zero is the fastest, Standard speed is 150. This mod sets it to 5.

Could you add some stats somewhere in the description detailing how fast (or slow) the storage yard's standard load/unload is and how much faster this mod makes it? Would make it a lot easier for us wanting to do some rewriting with the speed to customize it.

Yeah Load this mod and then MCR and an option in MCR for Faster Warehouse will be there to adjust speed.

I think you got the wrong captain there, dude. Anyway, I tried rewriting the raw .lua files, but that didn't work... I'll give MCR a look though, see if it works any better. Cheers.

IMO, you should reduce the speed boost on this mod to maybe just 2x of the warehouse's standard speed. As it is now, the animation looks extremely choppy and ugly, and the extra speed beyond 2x doesn't really contribute anything.

Alternatively, would it be possible to make a second version of the mod that grants just 2x speed? In case others would gripe about the reduced speed, I mean.

- Added code to stack resources in one regular storage depot straight up on demolish.
No more spread out resources when you demolish a full mechanized storage warehouse.

@RadioactiveKiller. No problem. I started a Bug Reports discussion on the mod. With 1100+ subscribers I would think someone else would have seen this effect but anything is possible. If you come across it again, take an immediate save and reach out. I'll send you a link to throw it onto so I can check it out. One think I suggest checking though. I re-write some game code for the mechanized warehouse, so if you have another mod that steps on that its certainly possible.

@SkiRich I am sorry i have recently deleted all my saves because i could not continue on my latest colony so i deleted the game with an error. i am not 100 percent sure if it was a game glitch or a mod glitch but it was fixed when i turned off the mod and rebuilt the storages.

Fixed a few bugs with the new Curiosity Patch of SM. Just restart your game and make sure you have this version installed. New and save game compatible. You can check in your mod manager for V3.0.2
