This is a piece of art. No idea how it behaves when using it but just walking through it makes you reevaluate your own ideas and realize again your missing creativity. This is an incredible ship.
Even if you know you will probably never build it for real (survival), get it and spawn it in creative and walk around to be totally impressed :-)
Uncle Brick 11 May, 2024 @ 8:15pm
Do you think you would update this for RE or/ and RE2
ZeroCool 9 Sep, 2022 @ 8:33am
Be careful. This ship shows up wit ha reforged eden filter and in game it is slow as balls, not enough thrust and way under balanced. Good thing i can recycle to ocd and get most of the mats back to respawn something else appropriate for RE

can you make a reforged galaxy version of this beauty?
jrandall  [author] 26 Nov, 2021 @ 8:59am
Thank you very much all! Sorry about my slow response. @Lanstus, this version is really old now. I spent a quite a bit of time and updates on the CV2 version (link at top of description. The updated version however is old now too, but was updated many times to keep it working. Recently I made a CV3 version which is a brand new ship but similar in function and overall shape. It is the most up to date Perses at the time. @[RTS]SpAcE MaRiNe, I will check it out. And thanks again all!
Don Juan Dimarco 25 Nov, 2021 @ 7:35am
Wow, great creative work :)
Pr3face 16 Sep, 2021 @ 5:56am
Awesome ship, lots of use.
Lanstus 3 Aug, 2021 @ 3:07am
The ship isn't fully airtight. The cantina area is not airtight. The fix is simple though. The stairs where the front cannon is, there is a half block. if you replace that with a full block, you'll get the ship to be fully airtight.
RoY 7 Jan, 2021 @ 9:42am
Has anyone tested this in reforged or have a reforged version?
J'ee 15 Nov, 2020 @ 3:34am
What a great ship! To those concerned, I've sealed the lounge after a game udpate caused an airleak. To fix it, go to the front of the lounge near the rocket launcher just above the lounge, on the deck. There are two staircases there, on deck, near the line of symmetry, and so likewise there are two half-blocks which now are no longer airtight, adjacent to them. Here I am pointing to one of them with a flare: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pqfzoys781wosba/Perses-new-update-causes-air-leak.png?dl=0 . I recommend replacing both of these half-blocks with full blocks. To keep the look of the lounge ceiling consistent, I recommend also replacing the blocks next to them (to the right of the one I am pointing to, for instance) towards the line of symmetry, with full-blocks, too. This will create a look pleasingly identical to the one on the ceiling just behind you in the lounge, with the answer right there on how to decorate your new blocks. Enjoy--and kudos as always to jrandall!

@silentius The big carrier is the MCRN Leviathan, pretty sure its on the front page of the workshop right now.
silentius 13 Jun, 2020 @ 2:46am
Hi,
I was just watching this Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Qg5o4HzaF8
and there is a big carrier where all the small vessels are on. Is there a public BP for this carrier because I like it :-) ?
Marcos-BR 8 Feb, 2020 @ 8:45am
Friend, please create a Santobell (Star Citizen) to me. Create in class 20 or 18. Have a model here, but have problem with cpu but is beautifull. Thanks
Spaghettioz 24 May, 2019 @ 8:33pm
Will do and thanks for the hard core work. I did see the video I think. Goddamned if I didnt see too after you mentioned it how MUCH CPU is saved by just using the full T2 generator, if this is that video lol. All that bloody space....all those power savings omg.

Soon as shes ready to sail, let us all know! You build the BEST stuff man.
jrandall  [author] 24 May, 2019 @ 1:48pm
@Spaghettioz, Been working hard on a update/A10 version of this ship. If you want to see the nearly complete progress I have a video on it. Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3KQUt5s9Z0&t=1123s
Thanks again!
Spaghettioz 15 May, 2019 @ 8:52am
Yep if you make a new one of these for A10, I will sub to that and build it. Best CV I have ever used aside from the repair thing. Very customizable to my needs in game and just enormous storage space, and damn big too. What you assume a CV ought to look like lol. Just let us know!
jrandall  [author] 15 May, 2019 @ 7:28am
@Spaghettioz and Invictus_66, I think I have a plan now. The first thing I want to do is finish a new CV "Destroyer" that is well on it's way. It will be A10 now that the experimental release is out. After that release I am some learning of the new blocks and etc, I will refit the Perses Carrier. The goals on it are to get it to 7500 CPU as well as have new storage, a shield generator, and just a general refit. It is possible it will cost a bit more and increase in size class some but not a lot. I have a hard limit of not exceeding class 10 as the carrier is currently class 9. I will try to be tight with the costs etc and keep it as close as I can to the original specs and price. One big part of this is I am forced to rebuild the thruster assemblies as it is the reason it currently is not at 7500 CPU. Thanks again! In this video I briefly show a bit of the new CV WIP. https://youtu.be/lLHnihC7jN8
Invictus_66 14 May, 2019 @ 5:02pm
@jrandall Yea I saw that video and got the link from there. The video was a year old so I wasnt sure if the changes with weights ect changed things. Maybe Ill wait for the updated version. Im still clearing off my home planet. I do have a short range SV to explore a few planets
Spaghettioz 14 May, 2019 @ 4:21pm
Well, an A10 version would be great. I want to keep using this CV as it is my favorite. The space is great, and you can park a ton of ships inside. The fuel consumption is nice and low for its huge size. The ability to up-gun the ship is WIDE open and very nice. It looks fantastic. You can fit everything you need plus a ton more gear and mats, and so on. BUT it is modelled after a battleship, and enemy CV fights have gotten a lot stiffer. So yeah, helping the repair go a lot easier will be great. Cause I want to get into CV fights and get all that loot. These last couple fights, they did give me a pretty bloody nose lol.

But yes, I fixed the landing strut issue, just to waste a huge load of mats on no repair at all lol.
jrandall  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 3:59pm
@Invictus_66, I do not know at the time. I haven't been on exp version of the game to see how it will do. I do plan on updating this ship in the semi near future thou. If it doesn't work now, it will after the update. Thanks!
Invictus_66 14 May, 2019 @ 3:44pm
Is this still a valid build 10?
jrandall  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 3:42pm
Thanks Spaghettioz lol! I remember at the time there was no retractable landing gear and I hated the look of that. So I tried to hide them more and build like a little frame around them. I still think the CV repair is kinda wonky too. lol I think it should allow for a longer range if visible. Well, thanks again, and I have had many thoughts on pulling this into dry dock and give it a A10 retro fit. :)
Spaghettioz 14 May, 2019 @ 12:54pm
I can amend that rant i had lol. I had to remove the landing gear and raises it by one block and reapply the landing gear. It works fine now. but it seems the whole thing is too low at the start. Whew too. Got into two enemy CV tangles and my front nose was fairly busted up. Trying to repair it by hand last time took a few IRL hours and was tedious as hell.

EDIT: The repair started. Went 23 straight mins. And at the end of repair, and the mats all used up in the repair function, and not a single thing was repaired to the most recent saved template lol :P Ugh. Repair by hand, here we go again.
Spaghettioz 14 May, 2019 @ 12:09pm
Getting into some solid CV fights on the way to planets. So, I get back home, place my CV on its landing pad, only to be told, after having to readjust it several times due to complaints of "the ship repair area is blocked" (despite it all being ope. I had to raise the struts on blocks and then remove them to finally get it to work when the CV was landed) to "Ship type cannot repaired". All that bloody work, and significant damage to repair, and i cant repair it by the repair module. This will take a few hours to do by the repair tool omfg. Dude, the ship is fantastic, but now its not worth taking into battle if thats what I got to do. Any options to handle this? I like this ship, but Its inevitable i am going to get into battles, and I want to. And I have a giant CV I cannot repair in any efficient sense.
jrandall  [author] 28 Apr, 2019 @ 1:43pm
Thanks zero4q and Site! @Site, The game doesn't allow a CV to dock on CV so it would not work. :( Thanks again!
Site 28 Apr, 2019 @ 6:28am
Can the Cosmos be docked to use as a drop ship ? great designs by the way, flying several of your creations

Thank you very much DarkFire :)
DarkFire 23 Mar, 2019 @ 4:32pm
This is a simply amazing ship design. Can't imagine how much work this took to design & build. This has become my go-to late game CV. Absolutely outstanding! :steamhappy:
jrandall  [author] 3 Mar, 2019 @ 1:59pm
Thank you Spaghettioz! lol.
Spaghettioz 3 Mar, 2019 @ 11:54am
You are knocking it out of the park man with your designs. Keep them coming. I got mining and processing going at a good pace right now and might try building more of your designs. Already got the top Merc you made too. Very happy with it, except that the plating on the floor is bloody thin lol. And I had to mangle the nose by slabbing on the armor to protect that cockpit.
Spaghettioz 3 Mar, 2019 @ 11:54am
A staggering, amazing piece of work.

Only mod I made to it was adding 8 projectile turrets, fore, after, port and starboard on the topside to help getting mobbed by a lot of fighters. Added 6 more on the hull for underside protection and a drill.

For its size, its not as much of a fuel gobbler as I would expect by quite a long ways. I prepped quite a bit before flying this thing around and I am using far less than I expected.

I will say though, getting the mats took two actual days of game playing and getting access to enough ores on planets I could reach in a SV, and THEN having to wait 20 hours plus was a hard strain lol. But I declare it worth it.
jrandall  [author] 2 Mar, 2019 @ 2:11pm
@strange99z, those are good questions. I haven't really hosted servers myself, so my experience is very limited on the topic. I do believe there are you tube videos etc on how to do it. I would like to know more about this too. Thanks again!
strange99z 2 Mar, 2019 @ 2:02pm
hmm perfer to not by pass having to get the mats, so if anyone knows the way to change it please let me know. thanks
strange99z 2 Mar, 2019 @ 1:59pm
its my server with a friend, i went into the saved game file didnt see that spawn thing for changing class size, ill use the console to bypass. or do you happen to know where you actually change the setting in the game?
jrandall  [author] 2 Mar, 2019 @ 11:15am
@strange99z, It depends how either the single player or multiplayer server is set up. With no setting changes the maximum class size is 5. You can however do: Hit the ~ key. When the window comes up type "spawnanyblueprint" without the quotes and hit enter. which will allow above size class 5 then. On servers, most allow to size class 10 however some are more restricted. Some servers have no limits at all. I hope that helps. Thanks!
strange99z 2 Mar, 2019 @ 11:06am
sorry noob question, but the blueprint says class size 9 and it showing red. will it let me build it if i have the materials or is there something i have to train in or do to allow it? thanks

Thank you Iokia and (M3) Russel :)

Love this ship, it has utterly filled the needs of my playgroup so far. I love the little small fighter docks in the main internal bay a great use of space.

I didn't comment at the time, but built one of these as my mobile base for my first game during alpha 8.
Ship has everything needed and more while looking awesome at the same time. Thank you for designing it.
jrandall  [author] 31 Jan, 2019 @ 5:11pm
Thanks Kontaro! :) I didn't realize. :)
Kontaro 31 Jan, 2019 @ 4:42pm
Congrats on this ship making it to the Most Subscribed page 1!
Ford154 27 Jan, 2019 @ 9:43am
Hey Jrandall. i sent out a friends request. We need to talk.
jrandall  [author] 25 Jan, 2019 @ 5:34pm
@MSNBC, thanks! It is in the hangar area near the constructors for the warp fuel tank. I believe it has W decal above it. The other side there has a R for armor repair. I hope that helps. Thanks again!
Sandwich Factory 25 Jan, 2019 @ 4:47pm
where exactly is the warp fuel thing...i cant refill my warp drivers. other than that i love the design, very friendly for survival players
sonnyketsit 21 Jan, 2019 @ 8:56pm
thanks for designing this, jrandall
