I know that CK2 is now "old news" ... but I still play it.

Anyway, I created a small mod based on this one to give me the functionality to demand prisoners from my vassals and to transfer prisoners to other rulers (whether or not they are vassals).

IF anyone is interested, post a comment and I'll reply with a comment containing the code.

Would LOVE to see this mod in CK3!

Ok thanks. From what I can tell from the dev diaries, modding seems to be easier in Ck3

We will have to see. Because I made this to fill a niche in my community's multiplayer campaigns, I don't expect similar functionality to be in base CK3, so I'm sure I'll want to port it over - the question will be how much CK3 lends itself to easy modding.

Will you be transferring this mod over to CK3 when it comes out??? I love this mod

Evil Mod
- You can send friendly assassins to enemy court and basically guarantee assassination
- you can get rid of sick and genetically unwanted courtiers
- you can send your mother in law to siberia
-beware though, when you send a person this way it does not automatically send their spouse as it usually does with other mechanics, leaving you to micromanage some to find who belongs where

I've always wanted to send those annoyances clogging up my court to my vassal courts instead (even more so with the new court system) Hopefully the mod is compatible with the latest version.

Thank you for making this! Now those pesky courtiers that always seem to show up for a few events can spend some time elsewhere...as far as my diplomatic reach can go....

Great mod.
I use this either to get rid of some courtiers (especialy after inheriting another court), for intrigue issues as mentioned before or to help the AI with good courtiers (but admittedly only in cheat games).

Thanks :)
..and upvoted.

I think it should work, it did for me - but that was a while ago.

Hi,

What about compatibility with HIP ?

Cheers.

Could be used in SP to send off high intrigue characters who really like you, or are very attracted to you, to include them in plots to kill and then invite them back. I'll try that out, might get too OP though.

In the case of England for example they would often have the Scottish prince in their court, exposing the young Scot to English culture and in a way making each successive generation of Scottish Kings more and more English than the last through the process of enculteration to the English courtly culture. I'm sure powerful English and Norman lords did the same to Welsh barons after the conquest of Wales to make the Welshmen more subservent and the future Welsh barons Normanized or Anglicized. I know in the base game that is possible with the entrusting of wards with the guardianship but it's not possible with bordering independent realms. It can definitely be great for role play purposes :D

This is really useful and honestly should be vanilla in the game! Historically it was well known for the King of a powerful nation to force Kings of weaker neighboring Kingdoms and some of their more powerful vassal lords to send their heirs to the royal court to hold them as political hostages to ensure the good behavior of their fathers.

Kek, I'll use this to get rid of my courtiers when I get 20+ people inside of it after taking control of an Empire again. Thanks for the court cleaner 5000 haha.
