I've created my own decals & wraps but can't seemed get it to work and I've fallowed tutorials on youtube and read the document that linked above

I've downloaded real engine 4.18 and selected Bus Simulator 18 Projects

them went to Modtoool and selected Config then filled out game installation dir and steam user name

Then created new plugin

Then I've imported the wrap & decal I've created through paint.net and saved as png file

Then added the modino and renamed it then went into that and filled out with wrap, decal and filled in the id name cooked it then copied to game directory

But when I load up the game and selected mods its not there so not sure if there's something I've missed if there's a specific way to fill ID or Author names etc

If anyone can help and point me in the right direction be much appreciated and I'm not fused about publishing mod on steam just yet

How do you even download this thing?
I have subscribed to the mod, gone to the installation folder and there is nothing there, just a bunch of random numbers.
I have searched in each of them and there is nothing.
I have even tried searching in Unreal engine to see if it can locate it, and as predicted, nothing!
If someone could simply reply on how to download this thing it would be much appreciated as nothing here states how!

@Diani Tiez Which does suck, but you can have different versions of unreal installed at once. Just open the games launcher and download 4.18. It's not ideal but at least you can still do it.

this needs an update, the updated version of unreal engine says it can not open the mod unless it is rewritten..

modkit is outdated. you cant use it anymore with the new unreal engine version 4.22

It is very difficult and very complicated to learn something about mod making. Unreal Engine is very difficult to learn. Decals, Wraps and Ads should be easier to do. In addition, video tutorials on mod creation should be posted.

so i have real engine 4.19 bud now i try to open BusSimulator18.urproject and its ays i have not all the dll files ??

@NACHN Go to where your steamapps folder is (It's likely in Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps), then go workshop > content and find it in there somewhere. You'll need to extract the zip file somewhere on your pc

And this goes for everyone: Don't make the same mistake as me and make sure you download Unreal Engine 4.18.x, not the newest version (4.19.3) that the launcher prompts you to.
