can you make it as well for powered AI core - General Modifications mod
FurryFailure  [autor] 23 SEP 2023 a las 10:23
Try importing your save.
黎塞留 23 SEP 2023 a las 10:20
I don't konw why i can't find AI cores, Any where no have this commodity.
Stainless Steel 5 SEP 2023 a las 13:31
You saved me. I have looted AI cores ALL AROUND THE FUCKING WORLD and don't wanna do import because way too cheesy and I have mods with hella expensive research.
Xiyo Reven 25 AGO 2023 a las 18:52
I know that's an old discussion from @Nintai and Author.. but 99% of mods you HAVE to import for them to work... what a silly disposition to hold.

Thanks for the mod-- multiple playthroughs where I will use/not use depending on what I'm aiming for in said playthrough! I appreciate it ^^
Nintai 17 SEP 2022 a las 16:50
That's a cool way to play too. Usually I try to make a little army and take over parts of the moon. :D
FurryFailure  [autor] 16 SEP 2022 a las 22:57
Yeah, I'm aware, and I said that.

Suppose it doesn't help that I don't play Kenshi to progress a story, I play for personal progression, so if I recruit a duplicate, or need to kill someone again, it won't bother me in the slightest, it's just another goal on my list, that I can tackle in a new way.

Truth be told, you're the first person I've met who dislikes Importing which is fair.
Not everyone can afford to re-capture Tinfist or plays the way I or my friends do, so i disregard that a lot - Easy to forget not everyone plays the game with something akin to a Catan Printer, ha, Blacksmithing Sweatshops + 6x EXP go Brr.
Nintai 16 SEP 2022 a las 22:06
Well, it resets the world state in many way beyond just shop positions. The worst would be resetting bounties like Bugmaster. If something goes wrong I do import though.
FurryFailure  [autor] 16 SEP 2022 a las 14:04
Aight, thanks, appreciate it.

I don't see Importing as an issue, it's kind of a necessity if you're modding an existing save, because it avoids potential issues and refreshes your world data, updates loot and spawn tables, etc, otherwise modded items can take a good while to show up, granted it may respawn Unique NPC's, but I think that's really the only issue, early builds it would move shops around in a town.
Nintai 16 SEP 2022 a las 13:53
Just wanted to put that out there because I only import if I absolutely have to. I wouldn't want anyone to avoid your mod thinking they would have to import. Thank you for your mod. It has a permanent place in my LO now.
FurryFailure  [autor] 16 SEP 2022 a las 13:11
Yeah you don't 'need' to import, but it expedites the process and refreshes everything.
Nintai 16 SEP 2022 a las 4:39
Heads up to anyone reading this now, but I didn't need to import this for them to show up. I waited for a day for the shop keeper's inventory to reset and they were there.
FurryFailure  [autor] 10 ABR 2022 a las 2:52
I'd recommend Importing, yes.
MilkmanLolzyo 10 ABR 2022 a las 2:50
Do I need to import for the mod to start working or do I wait a in game day for them to spawn
FurryFailure  [autor] 10 ABR 2022 a las 2:49
I only added them to Construction Traders, and Tech Trader's, but whether or not Tech Trader's actually have them is still unknown to me.
MilkmanLolzyo 10 ABR 2022 a las 2:46
These arnt added to the scraphouse?
Leigh 19 FEB 2022 a las 4:23
Wow, thank you very much! Thanks for taking your time to put that together :)
FurryFailure  [autor] 18 FEB 2022 a las 22:33
I don't have a lot of time atm to recreate the mod, instead I made a quick patch that removes the AI Cores from the Vendors.

Unfortunately due to how the FCS works, I had to alter the base mod to create a dependency, and removing the AI Cores isn't enough, so the AI Core Assembler will require 15 Steel Bars instead of 10 to Construct.

Craft Only Patch

Make sure it's loaded after this mod.
Leigh 16 FEB 2022 a las 5:25
While I have no issue with hunting the world searching for various ancient tech I really do like this mod. I don't actually use the purchase part of it, just the crafting. Considering that element wasn't the main focus of the mod I actually think its the best balanced out of these "Craft Cores" mods.

Mostly the price is just so stupidly high in such mods I'd rather break immersion and just Import the save and reset the spawns.

It is a small ask but any chance of having the crafting part of it as its own little mod?

Doing a Roman inspired run right now and I was already Tech 6 before I looked into this and the RIY mod. Just makes sense to me that at that level a Roman like faction would be making their own tech.

The two mods compliment each other nicely, but would love to have a "Craft Only" version of this one.
FurryFailure  [autor] 14 ENE 2022 a las 19:57
Glad you like it, and yeah - The mod is oddly difficult to balance, because I can design it to suit myself, but it's not good for others, and vice-versa, so finding that middle ground can be difficult - Not to mention it was made with an older version of the game and some other mods in-mind, so, experiences may vary, especially with different playstyles.

Some people might find it well balanced, some find it unfair, while others call it cheating, but it won't take much for someone to modify or patch it for personal use though.

Learning the FCS has major benefits and I have a good handful of personal mods and edits to handcraft and tweak my experience.
Shadk 14 ENE 2022 a las 19:34
your 3 mods with buying engineering, ai core and this one really helped me out as a new player trying to build up, thank you :D even tough i must say.. they feel a bit cheap considering how much you can earn with mining copper when you have like 6 people mining for a 2-3 hours real time, and i kinda find more ai cores than the ancient research in the shops

Updated: 1.1
-Added Crafting functionality to bypass compatibility issues. See Compatibility Section for details.
-Increased Value to 50,000c
FurryFailure  [autor] 5 NOV 2021 a las 16:12
I'm currently recovering from surgery, and have nothing to do, so I'll look into it, see if I can't find something.
benai 5 NOV 2021 a las 5:21
After running through the world Worlds End and Flats Lagoon have only one time purchases of AI Cores but the Scraphouse in the Black Desert City has refreshing AI Cores at least with the mods i use (GenMod, Interactive World, UWE, CompatibilityMods, Big Business Extreme).
benai 4 NOV 2021 a las 12:14
Wanted to lament about the missing AI Cores with UWE but you already said it within your description.
So there is no option to change this with some sort of compatibility patch? I now have either craft them or find them when this is even possible?
Kkat 16 MAY 2021 a las 8:15
Thank you. You're mods are highly desirable. Your feedback and helpfulness are amazing.
FurryFailure  [autor] 16 MAY 2021 a las 2:05
It's bothersome when my mods aren't working for whatever reason and upsetting when it's out of my hands and people can't enjoy them, so I do genuinely apologize for the inconvenience.
FurryFailure  [autor] 16 MAY 2021 a las 2:04
I tried to poke around and see if I could make some alternatives, but, there's not a whole lot I can do at the moment, I don't have the ability to spend alot of time on it - I'm between homes right now and stuck on a crappy laptop, so my ability to test things is severely crippled - Once I get back on my feet, I may look into better alternatives for these, I've a few ideas in-mind to help with these compatibility issues.

The only guess I can make regarding UWE is that it may be re-categorizing the AI Core under something else so my Mod can't find it, or, it might be that Shops have too much stuff in them and there's no room for the Core, I theorize that about the Tech Traders, AI Cores are in their inventory, but they do not show up, but, I don't know.

My final suggestion is attempting to bump my mod higher in the load order, import and try it, but, don't hold your breath.

Sorry, I do hope my other Mods are proving helpful at least.
Kkat 16 MAY 2021 a las 0:06
Thank you again. I took your suggestion, and after a lot of experimenting I was able to discern the conflict. It turns out that this mod does not play well with Universal Wasteland Expansion.

I'm not sure why UWE kills this mod but has no affect on Purchaseable Engineering Resource, but I was able to single it out as the culprit.

I don't suppose there is any chance of a patch? I would love to be able to use this wonderful mod, but stripping out UWE causes more issues than it fixes.

If not, you may want to add UWE to your Compatibility Issues list.
FurryFailure  [autor] 15 MAY 2021 a las 13:29
There is no Percentages either.
FurryFailure  [autor] 15 MAY 2021 a las 13:28
Likely a Conflict, I removed my version and subscribed to make sure I had the right version and started a new game, Tech Traders still don't dork, idk why, probably a coding thing, but the Construction Trader in Heft did sell them.

If you have other mods that affect the traders, disable them and try again, start a new game and have a look as well, I'm not too sure what could be causing your problem other than a conflict or the game being dumb.

Can also try installing it, importing and waiting a few in-game days too, I'm honestly not sure.
Kkat 15 MAY 2021 a las 9:42
Thank you for the reply and advice. Unfortunately, it is still not working for me.

Just to double-check: is there a percent chance of the cores showing up? And should the UC Construction Trader in Heft sell them?

I didn't import the first time I tried using it, but I've tried uninstalling it and running the game for a few in-game days without it, then re-subscribing to the mod and importing my game.
FurryFailure  [autor] 15 MAY 2021 a las 2:24
Yes it does, just tested it, make sure to import your game and make sure it's enabled.
Kkat 14 MAY 2021 a las 20:45
Does the mod still work? I'm not finding any AI Cores for sale. I've also installed the purchasable engineering research mod from FurryFailure and it works perfectly.
이춘재 24 NOV 2020 a las 22:12
OMG i have to say that you really are the most kind mod creator, even a guy speaks another language but you answered him anyway. commend+1
FurryFailure  [autor] 10 JUL 2020 a las 4:31
使用翻译器,所以请原谅不好的用词。尝试从主菜单导入保存文件。
额外的商店改装可能会导致冲突。
电磁骑士 10 JUL 2020 a las 0:07
Kaivian 3 JUL 2020 a las 17:36
@FurryFailure I'm running "Living World" which is a popular mod, as well as "Sailback" and "Pak Unit" (dependency for Sailback). I imagine it must be something to do with "Living World."
FurryFailure  [autor] 3 JUL 2020 a las 16:31
I checked the mod files and nothing but High Tech and Construction traders is touched, I also tested it and it's working as intended, you're using another mod causing conflicts, I'll push a version update just incase, if that doesn't fix your issue, check your mod list.
Kaivian 3 JUL 2020 a las 13:59
Wish this mod did a lot less than it does. Also, every bartender in existence has an AI core to sell 100% of the time. It's ridiculous.
EvilNecroid 28 JUL 2019 a las 4:39
omg ur awesome!
FurryFailure  [autor] 27 JUL 2019 a las 18:24
EvilNecroid 21 JUL 2019 a las 21:24
ok i had a mod that increases science books in shops and i didnt notice that it also set AI Cores to have a 5% chance of showing up so i guess i wasnt seeing them because of that. so after i removed that mod it still didnt work till i imported my save and then about 4 cores showed up in the shop :)
now i just need a mod that increases science books in shops without effecting AI Cores
FurryFailure  [autor] 21 JUL 2019 a las 14:48
I did a little bit of testing and my mod works.
Something to consider:
Is the mod loaded?
Do you have any mods that may possibly conflict?
Try going to a Construction trader in either Stoat or Heft, there's usually one at those cities if you can make it, in my game I have one in Stoat and it worked fine, cores galore.
If you went to a Holy Nation controlled Waystation, chances are they won't sell them because AI Cores are forbidden in Holy Nation territories.
EvilNecroid 21 JUL 2019 a las 11:13
i just found a construction shop at a waystation near Squin and it has no cores??
EvilNecroid 21 JUL 2019 a las 10:44
noob question.. where r these traders?
FurryFailure  [autor] 19 JUN 2019 a las 2:28
Shouldn't, but it wouldn't hurt to, they should show up whenever the stores restock
Black Velvet 19 JUN 2019 a las 0:39
requires save import?
Timesplitter 7 MAY 2019 a las 23:59
Thank you for this amazing mod that I have included in "Kenshi: The World Divided". This Mod Collection has been fully tested and works perfectly. Thank you again for the great mod to add to this collection. :steamhappy: Timesplitter.
FurryFailure  [autor] 25 MAR 2019 a las 15:29
All my mod does is change the value of the AI Core and puts them in Store, if there's a patch it'll need to be on their side, but as said, it's a total conversion mod and will cause a number of compatibility issues with a wide variety of mods.
