becoming my vassal in Three Kingdom.
PLEASE just release it man. In this case it ABSOLUTELY is better to ask for forgiveness then permission. Just post it up. He hasn't updated this since 2018, so he obviously isn't worried about it.
BTW why it stops working, when I rename it?
The game was crashing to desktop when trying to release Scottish settlements as vassals, so I took at the Lua script. In the CULTURE_TO_ARMY table inside create_vassal_region.lua, there's no entry for the Scots. So I just added a line: ["vik_sub_cult_scots"] = "sco_alban_axemen", and that fixed it.
I was able to release a couple Scottish vassals no problem after making that change. Hopefully the creator can add the fix to the mod for other people to use.
Thought the bastards'd be more grateful for independance...but oh well.

Like dying in the background is ok, but showing another message to the player, if he cant become a general (of the new vassal state but in the duty of the player).
Sorry for my bad english. ;)
What I mean with "become a general" is the following: after taking a governor or a candidate in charge of a province it can become a vassal state if the player wants. And after that, the governor or candidate dies, "as if he were to become the head of the new vassal state". Like you said. Thats clear. But is there a possibility that he doesnt die or at least that there is no message "killed in line of duty" and the same in the records of the faction.
Can he become a general of a new army for example and not dying? Or just "leaving the faction", with another message for example?
But I think for the game this function is like: someone becomes governor and the province is lost, so the governor has to die (like in battle for the province). Can you avoid this game mechanic somehow?
What do you mean by become a general? Do you mean they become a governor? There are some provinces that you won't be able to turn into a vassal (if the faction that would be liberated is still alive for example)
I like your mod very much, but it isnt compatible with "Crucible of Kings" I think.
But I cant find where is the problem in the PFM, checked all the scripts and tables. Can you help me? I obviously overlooked something. And is there an possibility that the governor of the vassal state become a general and is not dying?
Btw. I am playing with the 24tpy mod, so i changed startpos.esf....I guess that could be a problem?
