I've been trying to figure out what mesh the straight cleaver was, but the wiki page links to the long cleaver. It was used by the holy empire before they were the holy nation apparently, I just wanted the holy empire mod I made to emulate them as best as I can

you can edit the mod, revert any change made (right click on shek race, "revert" .)

made a start with 1 Prince, 4 Soldiers, 10 food-bearing Workers, 2 building material-bearing Workers, 2 building material and iron plate-bearing Workers, and 2 crop-bearing Workers (all have stats based off of their caste as if they were actually from the hive and not grown babies with 0 stats)

using this mod and the exoskeleton mod im curious how enjoyable it will be :)

you create your chars you can set the squad in a faction with hiver only but changing race in creation menu is still possible.
you can create just one and add 30 of him in the squad that ll work too.

the stats are what you give them. if it's an export i dunno. should keep stats but creatin them is easier in fcs

oh really? thats epic, does it reset their stats and such? or is it based on gathering 30+ people taking them to location X and saving the game to an importable start?

no code needed ^^. if you're able to post on steam you can basically create a new start :).
it's mainly clicks and just naming of stuff.
you'll need some chars a squad and then create the gamestart at the location you wanted.

would you be willing to make a starting scenario where you start with like 10-15 people on the outskirts of hive territory as an exiled hive cluster? (started with 5 but its feeling weird having a ton of humans and only 5 hive cuz i have to pay and hunt or i have to kidnap from the hive)

For whatever reason with this mod enabled (I've tried both with other mods enabled and only this mod enabled) hivers use the human female voice when they are struck in combat. This is consistent as a Prince, Worker, or Soldier.

in the 40's all around (mostly sentinels, but he was taking out paladins as well) just thought it was insane that one caravan guard took out a city

just a friendly question but did you intend for hive caravan guardsmen to be strong enough to solo most of Stack? had a caravan come near my base and apparently near Stack, found most of the guards lying dying in the streets and one solo Caravan Guard beating the hell out of everyone XD he had 94 strength 60+ attack and 40+ defense wearing what looked to be merc leather and wielding a heavy polearm, still like the buff to hive but did it go a little too far? ;D

that's why they're desirable for marksmen lol Which is what I was saying. I was tossing out the idea that maybe you can experiment with giving the princes a boost to the perception stat via xp gains. Anywho, just wanted to let you know that the mod is fantastic and that the changes work well lol

You didn't boost anything, no. I was suggesting that you did lol. But the thing is, they make fantastic scouts because of the base boosts to their stealth. Now hivers are faster than other races, kinda mistook it for an athletics boost, but now that they run faster, they're good for recon and sniping.

also, your new changes make it so that hivers make highly desirable marksmen and sharpshooters. Now with the stealth bonus, athletics bonus, all they need is an Eagle's Cross and some training and bam, you've got yourself snipers. Not to mention, some ample training will allow hivers to at least take on some low-threat baddies like Holy Servants. Maybe you should give some bonuses to hive drones and princes for crossbows, and maybe perception bonuses to the princes? Just a thought.

probably not lol. I tested the mod, it works great. I advise anyone to import to a new world though, otherwise you'll wind up with a lot of dead shek and hivers in your world. Won't fix your squad but at least your world won't be a corpse wasteland, especially if you have multirace bandits.

it's because shirts are textures. And with their body it would look messed up as they don't use the same template as human or even sheks.
for them to have shirts it would require devs to add in each shirt a line for hiver texture and create it. and not even sure it would look ok.

Sweet, but I often wonder why hivers can't wear normal shirts. Kinda sucks because I can imagine a hiver wearing a shirt. I guess it's because their wonky shoulders, kinda makes it hard to form the shirts to those shoulders and stuffs. Anyways great mod! Will be downloading it.

You should remove the swimming bonnus, with that SLIM limbs they shouldn't be able to really swim that well, even less if you consider they needle-like legs and headshape (this last one is only a soldier problem)

yup, skin armor of the shek wouldn't keep up with hiver upgrade ^^ .
