Hey could you make roma street in Brisbane
LORD MASHIE 7 Aug, 2022 @ 7:51pm
would be cool to have just the platform as its own asset to use in a custom station
avocadoseveryday 6 Oct, 2021 @ 6:58pm
Thank you for this beautiful train station it will look amazing in my city
anfalicious 24 Apr, 2021 @ 6:36pm
I grew up on the hursty line. Love this. Would love Collingwood!
btv 12 Jan, 2021 @ 7:35pm
I from Melbourne, I Fairfield the place but not the station, nice to see it now in the game brilliant work and I'll have standing proud in my Cities :steamhappy: have great day

@PistonTrent, thanks, definitely agree. Not sure if I will get back to modding CS as I am doing some work for other games, but will see :-).
PistonTrent 10 Sep, 2020 @ 9:05am
If you ever do get back to modelling for CS, I think Caulfield & Collingwood stations are great choices. I also think Windsor is a good example of a classic station (with an Edwardian era station house) that's sunken.
NotHisRealName 13 Jul, 2019 @ 3:36pm
I really like the look of this station but would like to see a better edge to road. Otherwise, it looks really good - great for a domestic train line.
Diko 3 Apr, 2019 @ 5:29pm
I used to get off here to go to work about 20 years ago. Awesome.
hemeac  [author] 26 Jan, 2019 @ 4:33am
@Majordej, Thanks, but don't have much free time, so not sure if I'll get back to modelling for CS.
Majordej 11 Jan, 2019 @ 2:56am
Please make more!!!
Val_Hung 28 Nov, 2018 @ 5:07pm
i got bashed at the station
Big_Daddy_David 2 Sep, 2018 @ 1:45am
Holy crap! Haha fancy seeing my old station here! Well done - it looks real!

@Performance Enhancing Macbook - Now we've also go raised stations at Middle Gorge (aka Middle Earth), Hawkstowe and Mernda!
RacistGaming 29 Aug, 2018 @ 3:10am
does it require a dlc pack
benwhite5477 4 Aug, 2018 @ 8:49pm
Hi Hemeac. Looking Forward to the next Melbourne train station. Do you know when it will be released? Can't wait.
Damo 13 Jul, 2018 @ 12:57am
Love this station Hemeac! What about North Melbourne as a bigger sunken platform station mate?
jam bozo 9 Jul, 2018 @ 10:57pm
Epping or South Morang are also a good example of sunken stations with island platforms
hemeac  [author] 16 Jun, 2018 @ 5:23am
Thanks!, will add those to the list :-)
PistonTrent 10 Jun, 2018 @ 5:09am
I think Caulfield is definitely the best choice as a quintessential 4 platform station, and Collingwood is a great choice as an elevated one. I would have said Murrumbeena was the quintessential 2 platform classic station at ground level before demolition, but Prahran is a good example of a quintessential classic station at ground level without an overpass bridge; and the next station on that line Windsor is a great example of a sunken station with a walk bridge in the classic 100+ year old Melbourne style with a beautiful station house.
dmbon2 27 May, 2018 @ 4:33am
It would be amazing to see you attempt the new Skyrail Stations on the Caulfield - Dandenong section. Like Carnegie, Clayton etc....
hemeac  [author] 26 May, 2018 @ 6:34am
@GuyIncognito, Just demigod :steamhappy: @1233, Not sure, have only tried MOM once months ago.
23333! 26 May, 2018 @ 4:23am
May I just ask, if I get the MOM mod, will it become a Metro station?
GuyIncognito 26 May, 2018 @ 12:32am
You are a god amongst man. Thanks for this.
newyorkinmelbourne 24 May, 2018 @ 9:38pm
How awesome to have something so close to home, literally, and its on the workshop! You should make the big dog too :)
hemeac  [author] 24 May, 2018 @ 8:04pm
@BadPeanut, It is quite possible, I’ll recheck that, I had zero patience after the pedestrian pathways! Thanks!
hemeac  [author] 24 May, 2018 @ 8:04pm
@Mr Hotel Man and manu, Glad you like them 😊
hemeac  [author] 24 May, 2018 @ 8:04pm
@ Tangara Train, Just to clarify my comment on Southern Cross, I don't think I could do justice to the wave/dome of the Southern Cross roof currently without some guides; Fairfield was the first building I built "freehand" from photo/google map references and that had the benefit of the buildings being boxy.
hemeac  [author] 24 May, 2018 @ 8:04pm
@BaileySpy, Damo, benwhite5477, & orsim, thanks for all of your suggestions. Will add to my list and perhaps will put these stations in a tournament bracket to choose the next one :-)
manu 24 May, 2018 @ 12:46pm
Awesome, most of the UK stations also has the similar structures. Please make more. Immediate subscription and thumbs up.
Singular Green Bean 24 May, 2018 @ 6:17am
Awesome!!! I live in Melbourne and I've been dying to have a Melbourne styled station!
Orsim 24 May, 2018 @ 3:09am
This is awesome. I love all the Melbourne stuff you have done.
Any chance you might make a sunken station like Hawksburn?
benwhite5477 24 May, 2018 @ 2:28am
This is great! Maybe do Cheltenham Station. From the 1880's and three platforms, one terminating and two through. also Bentleigh, McKinnon Ormond will look great!
BadPeanut  [developer] 23 May, 2018 @ 11:45pm
@tangara train (Qantas001) southern cross is on the to do list ;)
BadPeanut  [developer] 23 May, 2018 @ 11:44pm
If you were getting errors when saving having placed props it may be because you've got advanced building editor enabled? Disable that for the session you place and save props and it won't interfere. Once placed as long as you don't edit the props you can reenable the mod and it won't throw an exception
BUZ 23 May, 2018 @ 10:31pm
Can you do southern cross station please.
Damo 23 May, 2018 @ 10:29pm
This is awesome! Thanks. Also love the idea of the PSO pod functioning as a mini police station.

I've been thinking for a while about which stations might be practical/awesome to have in the game. Here's a few suggestions you may consider.

Modern ground level - Thomastown
Modern island platform - Williams Landing, West Footscray
Modern sunken - St Albans
1980s ground level - Hoppers Crossing
1980s elevated - Tottenham
Multi platform - Sunshine
Single platform - Altona, Ashburton
Express tracks in middle - East Richmond
And if you're up for the challenge of a big modular station - Richmond
BaileySpy 23 May, 2018 @ 1:34am
Amazing work - I see this on my commute every day so looking forward to seeing it in game! Have you thought about doing the elevated Mernda station as opposed to the Hawkstone/Rosanna ones? Admittedly would love any of those in the game!
hemeac  [author] 22 May, 2018 @ 2:18pm
@Robert, Thanks! Was really happy how that turned out in Photoshop. Adding in the normal map really helps with the illusion of depth :-)
hemeac  [author] 22 May, 2018 @ 2:17pm
@themelbguy, Sorry I missed your post and thanks on the suggestions. May have to take a trip down the Ringwood and Dandenong lines someday soon too. I really like some of the 3 track lines along Frankston, but I would think about "upgrading" them to a 4 track station. Was on that line to get to the Stony Point line a few months back and got off at Tyabb (@Ququee͠) as I noticed Google Maps suggested a few antique shops. It was a Tuesday though, so everything was closed. At least I got to breath in the fresh cow manure while waiting for the V/Line Sprinter to turn around.
Robert 22 May, 2018 @ 6:57am
Looks awesome, love the tactiles!
Schnitzel 22 May, 2018 @ 4:09am
stunning man! loving your works, melbourne is one diverse city with so many different station types, i'd love to see some newer and older stations, the Northern lines are changing so much, the new Mernda extention would be interesting to see later this year.
But Tyabb station is one i use so often and to have it in game would make my country-scape so much more relevant and true to my day to day life! i hope to see it soon <3
Keep it up
hemeac  [author] 21 May, 2018 @ 11:36pm
@Theodore, Cool!
hemeac  [author] 21 May, 2018 @ 11:36pm
@clus, I've gotten it to look a bit better, but still a WIP on my end. Think I'm not patient enough with it. Will fiddle with it some more and if I can get them to look a bit more normal, will update, but thanks again for your help.
Slothrop 21 May, 2018 @ 5:31pm
Great looking model! I plan to incorporate this into my build if possible!
clus 21 May, 2018 @ 12:42pm
@hemeac Great work !! I really like it ... thumbs up :) And thanks for mentioning me in your description... really :) And btw... I took the liberty to fire up the asset editor to take a look at your pathway. You could improve the walking behavior of the cims simply by putting at least one extra node on to the middle platform of the overpass. I am adding a picture down below with the result of that ... That might be worth a try... There are still cims jumping or falling down, but the majority took "the right way" in my testings...

girlfromverona 21 May, 2018 @ 5:07am
It's perfect! I'm making a small NZ town based in the 1960s. :)
hemeac  [author] 21 May, 2018 @ 4:40am
@girlfromverona, glad it's useful :-). @Infin15, Thanks! If I was to start again, I'd start with a super basic station and just work on the mechanics of getting the track and pedestrian paths down as they can be tedious. If you are try one and get stuck, leave a comment and I'll point you to a couple of resources as I wasn't able to find a single guide on stations.
Infin15 21 May, 2018 @ 3:51am
Absolutely stunning!

I was thinking of trying a station but I got caught up with another train at the moment. But keep up the great job smashing out these Melbourne assets!
girlfromverona 21 May, 2018 @ 3:27am
Looks great! I plan to use this in my NZ build. Thanks!
